'Clean and spacious rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff and an excellent breakfast. Great value B&B'

'For a budget hotel this is one of the better ones I’ve stayed in. Staff friendly. Rooms good standard and clean. It’s a good reflection of how much I paid for the room per night, I’d recommend for the price conscious person it’s a good stay. Only couple of things which I mentioned to the'

Mijn overnachting in The Bear’s Paw was voortreffelijk.

'Truly wonderful staff, great food, lovely overall ambience. Our mattress was very hard and the bed frame creaked badly which led to disturbed sleep. Breakfast was very good and the bar area and restaurant are lovely places to spend time in.'

'We stayed in this glorious hotel overnight as a family of three plus our dog. We had the most wonderfully warm welcome upon our arrival and this was further enhanced by the rustic charm that this lovely hotel exuded by way of its decor. We adore a vintage aesthetic so its appearance resonated with us immediately. Richard and his wife were fabulous hosts and the continental breakfast that they served to us this morning was very impressive .. warm croissants, toast, cereal and an array of fresh...

'The rooms are very comfortable, interestingly decorated, and well equipped with plug outlets, etc. Only negative is that meal service ends at 8pm in the restaurant, and road traffic can be a bit loud (if you are sensitive).'

'Echt een super Engelse locatie. Prima ontbijten. Echt Cheshire. Je moet echt met een auto komen.'

'Beautiful location and good service but no hot water in the shower. '

'Ideaal gelegen, rustig en heerlijk eten'

'Great host, clean rooms all facilities that are required, great breakfast.'

'Kan een update gebruiken. WiFi is waardeloos. Service is vriendelijk. Prima ontbijt, niet overdreven maar wel lekker.Echt Engels. '

'Very typical English hospitality 10/10 !!! Will be back soon. :)'

'Simply superb, beautiful house lovely spacious rooms and an excellent cooked to order breakfast. Charming host and staff. Cannot be faulted and.....staggering distance from 2 pubs, one gastro - great food - the other a good local with decent ale (when you get them to pour it the proper way and not as Northern idiots want it, like keg).'
