'Do not recommend this property. The guy at the counter had no shoes on and Hardly talked, he didn’t seem to know what’s going on. Not very clean at all and like every other review the tvs in the rooms do not work at all. The room smelled bad and had stains on the sheets. That being said we stayed one night and cancelled our other two at this property and had no issues getting a refund, they were nice about it. 'This affordable hotel is about 20 mins drive from downtown Charleston. Staff is helpful and nice. We booked for 5 persons, but we had to make the sofabed ourselves. Also there were only towels provided for 4. When we asked, it was no problem and got them. Breakfast is good, but the line for waffles was long and is at the start of the buffet. Maybe move the waffle station to the end and get an extra waffle iron would help a lot. '

'This was not our kind of place. Rooms were ok clean. We ended up not having a pet with us but for a pet hotel ok. A/c did not work properly in either room we were in. Floors were filthy in both rooms. Staff rude unless manager in office. Good location to many attractions. We do not recommend staying here.'

'Breakfasts were fine, but somewhat limited in options. Parking was extremely convenient, as we were able to park right outside the property every day we were there. Location was great. We were able to walk to great dining experiences and the park across the street was a great place to sit and chat. The top floor reading area was also a great place to relax.'

'The location is in walking distance to everything in Charleston. The staff was outstanding. Loved the wine reception at 5 pm and breakfast delivered to your room every morning was amazing. We will be back soon!!'

'The only thing i would change, is the mattress and pillows. Need new or different. The Mattress was like sleeping on a beanbag and the pillows were too hard. Otherwise, welcoming staff was fabulous, breakfast was very nice lot of everything. And location was great and the queen and room. I think it was called was like being in a treehouse, not the treehouse room.'
