HOT TUB ( Available All Year including WINTER ) STEAM ROOM with dual showers. Electronic Game room (AREA 51 & MAXIMUM FORCE 2-PLAYER SHOOTING ARCADE VIDEO Game and full-size Pac-Man machine (w/ 60 other games from the 1980s) and a Video Poker Machine. Also an Auto Racing Machine, with steering wheel and gas pedal. Pinball Machine. Games are all free except the Poker Machine. PlayStation 4. Electric MASSAGE CHAIR. . Free Soda machine w/ 4 flavors, Belgium waffles, Shaved ice machine, 3 types of Coffee machines and grinder. An on-site professional body massage by appointment at extra charge. 3 PERSON INDOOR JACUZZI/ TWO-SIDED FIREPLACE in the bedroom(not operating during summer) and living room/ 2 mountain bikes, Tandem and female cruiser (not available in winter). 2 Paddle Boards, 2 Kayaks, tandem kayak, Surf Boards,( Summer only), beach chairs, Corn Hole Toss and Spike Ball games for the beach. Welcome to the “Miami,” Sheridan Beach’s lakefront apartment with hot tub, ( OPERATING ALL YEAR ), Jacuzzi, steam room, and panoramic views of the dunes, surrounded by wilderness, beach, and Michigan City’s famous Lighthouse. There is nothing between you and the fine, sandy beach except a short "3-MINUTE WALK" down the footpath through the sand dunes to the lake. Beach chairs are provided. The sand is so fine that when you drag your feet, it actually squeaks. Open either the six French doors in the living room to access the hot tub or the four French doors in the bedroom and step out onto the expansive deck or stay inside and listen to the soothing sounds of Lake Michigan’s surf ( when the waves are up) and the songs of the crickets in the dunes. Let the sounds lull you to sleep. The master bedroom features a king-size/four-poster bed; and an additional queen-sized hide-a-bed with an extra 3-inch foam mattress topper. This is a 5-star accommodation at an awesome, natural 5-star location. Pets OK.
The floor is covered with a super plush 90-ounce carpeting that you can really sink your feet into, a master bedroom with a grandiose four-poster kind size bed worthy of a King or Queen, and Two sided gas fireplace. Extra-large bathroom with a three-person Jacuzzi tub, flat screen TV, beach sand toys for children, glass-surround dual shower, dual basins set in blue pearl granite, bidet, and an antique vanity dressing table. Truly a five-star feeling. You will also find an invigorating steam room with dual showers. Treat yourself to an outdoor shower on the deck and a large "PRIVATE" 8-foot x 8-foot hot tub ( 'AVAILABLE ALL YEAR' ). Comcast cable and high-speed wireless internet are included.

Beautiful view and very cosy

Het appartement geeft een prachtig uitzicht op het meer en op het terras is het heerlijk genieten in de hottub. Daarnaast heeft het appartement een stoomcabine, bubbelbad en gashaard. Voor twee personen een mooi ruim appartement. Van alle gemakken voorzien om echt te relaxen.

We really liked it. Thought that it was a standalone unit from the listing, with two big dogs, it was almost a game changer. The owner however was willing to be more than accommodating to the needs that we had. It was truly a wonderful visit. Cannot state how beautiful it was.

I appreciated arriving during the day because the condo is located at the bottom of a small hill, and it took a moment to figure out which door led to our specific condo. It is a three floor walk-up, but the view makes it totally worth it. It was great to have parking right outside the location. We visited in October, but I imagine this location during the winter time would be an amazing place for quiet reflection and quiet walks on the beach. They have all the toys to enjoy a summertime visit as well. We are a mixed couple and were unsure of the community so we instacarted our groceries and the groceries arrived as we pulled up, so it truly felt like everything was taken care of. We spent the day at the Great Escape Spa that is just ten minutes away, and were well taken care of. The steam room in the condo looks a bit intimidating with the red light and single plastic chair, but it was truly a gift and was great to use after our massages and facials. The grill was perfect, along with the hot tub and jacuzzi. Our dog became visibly relaxed almost immediately since he had the outdoor patio to lay on and sniff new smells. We did not take advantage of all the games and it felt a bit crowded with all of them, but I imagine the right visitor would really enjoy them. The gentleman who was on site was very friendly and helpful. On our way home we noticed how close we were to the outlet mall. We are looking forward to visiting again.

The view from the balcony was stunning without any obstructions. The walk to the beach, along the sandy path was easy. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of plates, glasses, pans, skilletes, and utensils. There arecomplete instructions and labeling for all the fun stuff; arcade machines, steam room, hot tub, massage chair, etc. We enjoyed our stay.

Hidden treasure! Wish the path to the beach was easier…lugging equipment was a workout! Realized that it costs as much to stay here as it would have on the beach walk (more modern and new). But kids loved the games in the apartment!

We recently stayed at “The Miami” and enjoyed the quirky, well-equipped space, especially the private deck and arcade machines. The location near the beach and dunes is beautiful, and the property has a lot of unique amenities. That said, there are a few important details that future guests, especially pet owners should know ahead of time.First, this is not a standalone house. It’s the top-floor apartment of a three-unit building. Access is via a shared stairwell, and a live-in caretaker resides on the bottom floor. Some of the amenities described — like bikes, kayaks, beach wagons, and the soda machine — are shared with the other units, which wasn’t entirely clear in the listing. That’s fine if you’re expecting it, but worth knowing in advance.We booked this rental in part because it was listed as dog-friendly, but the reality didn’t align well:There’s no grassy area for dogs to relieve themselves.The sand can reach very high temperatures (over 100F), which isn’t safe for paws.The yard contains cactus and poison ivy, and there were LOTS of ticks.During a required phone call, the host let us know that dogs aren’t allowed on the beach, and to take an umbrella to hide them. We were also told that if our dog might bark at all, we needed to take them with us at all times, which is not very practical.This property has some standout features and could be a great fit for couples or small groups without pets.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Miami. The location was private and beautiful. The deer came right up to eat and we watched them from the patio. We had many family competitions on the games and enjoyed the quick access to the beach. Everything worked properly and it was the cleanest place we have ever stayed. Place was very clean. Instructions pasted to the wall a little odd but helpful all the same. Place feels a touch dated but has been very well maintained. The hot tub was very clean had very little smell and was a hi light of the whole place.

Overall , this is a fantastic condo! If there was a loft area over the entrance for a second bed for friends to stay, what a value it would be!- (Hideaway just doesn’t cut it!) Quirky Fun Stay

We're torn on how to comment on this stay. In some ways it was awesome - the fact that it has a video poker machine, a feeding station for deer (that you can watch in your room), that the beach is right there, a massage chair, the fireplace can be turned on with a flick of a light switch, the bed was super comfortable, the host is very attentive (maybe too communicative), there's a hot tub, and it's clean. However, the game room is in a very small closet; you have to have them all running at once (the sound is loud); they didn't check between guests to see if they were all working (which the game we wanted wasn't; so we had to call and it seemed like that's their preference - on us to call); all the bathroom light switches are timer based; there are bugs (mostly ladybugs and beetles) that drop through the skylight; the dogs on the first floor bark a lot; and for some reason you have to call the host ahead of your stay and have a long drawn out call (would have preferred to just had a keyless entry situation and communicated over the app). Overall, we enjoyed our stay and our pup enjoyed running on the beach. This is a one and done place for us, especially because of the price and the fact that it doesn't seem like they care to modernize things.

Such a cool spot for a relaxing getaway…so many amenities packed in one place! great view, big outdoor hot tub, indoor whirlpool tub, sauna, massage chair and pet friendly. We had a great time!
