We observed several broken windows nearby and multiple closed or apparently out-of-business storefronts on the block, including businesses downstairs and next door. 'The place was spacious and conveniently located. I contacted the host about parking upon check in and didn’t hear back until the next day. The email I received said there were cleaning supplies under kitchen sink but there were none. I had to go to the store to buy dishwasher detergent. Also, this was a city apartment so I should have know but I had a cooler bag with a sealed loaf of bread and mice did get into it. Also the bar stools and couch need to be cleaned. They were filthy so much that I...

'This little efficiency apartment was clean and accessible to many things in the Cleveland area. The host was an excellent communicator and made our check-in and checkout process easy.There were a few small glitches which we addressed with the host and she tried to rectify while we were there. Nothing that was a dealbreaker. The apartment was cute and clean. I’d recommend this VRBO.'

'There definitely is free parking in the back of the building on the far side of the guard rail, I was really uncomfortable with this not knowing if we got there and it would be full, but don't think that would be a problem for anyone. Be prepared to walk through the back door to get up to the third floor, basically in total disrepair. 'Check in was super easy. My only complaints are that the bedding was covered in fur (I have allergies) and the shower was nearly impossible to navigate comfortably. I liked the downstairs unit better when I stayed there.'

'Lakewood has a lot to offer, and this location was very convenient. I loved that we had a dedicated, assigned parking spot off the street. We did cook one meal there plus breakfasts, and that was helpful to have that kitchen. The bed was very comfortable with quality sheets. It's not a 5 star hotel, but it was very nice, for a very good price. I would go back again when visiting Lakewood.'
