Lots of beds for a group. Disappointed there was no good access to the lake. Kitchen is well stocked with equipment for cooking etc.

Felt like a home away from home. Very clean. Location was great and loved the gas stations accross the street. Fish was good.

Our teens enjoyed the loft room and the upstairs bedroom. It was a great location for visiting Pictured Rocks and Tahquamenon Falls. The bathroom was a little tight for a plus size person, but we made it work. Quiet neighborhood and great responsive host.

4th Fun

Cabin was nice and clean. Gavin was responsive for any questions. There was some hot, muggy weather while we stayed, so we borrowed some fans from nearby friends. I'd say the only things would be to have some fans available in the cabin for hot days and to remove some limbs for more consistent Starlink signal. Overall it was a very enjoyable stay for my family.

This is a beautiful property and we enjoyed our stay immensely.Our one drawback was the stairs. The entry stairs to the front deck and electronic lock are quite tall and we struggled with them.The 2nd floor lounge was largely unusable to my troupe and there were a few comments about longing for a sofa on the main level. A group of little old ladies, I guess.We also removed the trash bin to outside; the garbage bags provided for the tall trash bin are very heavily scented and our sensitivities to those strong scents caused us to use alternative rubbish solutions. We were fortunate that The McMillan cottage was in a bubble of relief from the Ontario forest fires smoke, and the temperatures were stunningly comfortable.You might consider lowering the water temperature for the water heater, as it was near scalding at the kitchen sink and shower. But you may have legitimate reasons for the very high temperature.Thank you for sharing your spot with us, we did enjoy it.
