'Hotel itself was good. Customer service was lacking. Called a week ahead and day of asking if we could check in an hour early. Got there and were told we couldn’t, then saw several groups of people check in while we were waiting, we tried again and then they let us check in. Also told them our room was out of hand soap and body wash and never got it taken care of our entire stay.'

'Room was clean and quiet. It appeared that the facility was getting some updates which it needed. Breakfast was very minimal but we actually didn't have time for anything more. The hotel met our basic needs for a one night stay.'

'The elevator was down, we were told that the only room available was on the 3rd floor. When we tried to access the room, it seemed to be locked from the inside. We were then given a room on the first floor. The facility was clean enough. This is a budget establishment, and you get what you pay for.'

However, wherever you turn, you notice little things . . . a loose shower handle, exposed nuts/bolts at the base of the toilet, etc. Simple maintenance issues that differentiate a down-at-the-heels hotel from a good property. As for room service, we never broke the code on which days our room might be made up. Better hotels tell you what you might expect at check-in. 'We came here late Thursday evening after severe storms in our area left us without electricity and water. We woke up early Friday to a room literally swarming with ants and packed up as quickly as possible, all while brushing ants off of ourselves. There was no management on site and no one willing or able to do ANYTHING other than take my name and number saying that management would contact me. They haven't. I have called multiple times only to get the run around and was even hung up on. AVOID...

'All 4 times I've stayed here, the rooms were on the ground floor next to my car. It's located near the freeway, close to restaurants. The rooms are clean with small refrigerators and microwaves. Staff is friendly.'

'This used to be much nicer with much more attentive staff. Staff we talked with, English is a second language. A bit difficult to understand The room furniture was well used, sofa bed showed lots of wear and tear. Bed was comfortable. We had an issue with their "room service". I would never order from them again. Overall, if you are just staying the night, might be worth the discounted price.'
