Our youth group loved this stay. They especially loved being able to feed the llamas. It was the perfect place for them to spend their time together there.
The lava yay frame is such a great spot to stay if you want to explore Lava and the rest of Marsh Valley. We spent time in Pocatello, Lava, and Arimo and this was conveniently located to a highway which made it easy to get places. The house is well-furnished with anything you might want during a fun retreat. The kitchen wanted for nothing: there was a crockpot, plenty of dishes, pans, and a griddle, the knives were sharp, and the fridge was a nice size for all the meals of our three night stay. The stove and oven worked perfectly. All the bathrooms were functional, updated, and clean. The living spaces had plenty of seating, but also space for the kids to play on the floor. The beds were comfortable and inviting. The furniture is sturdy and in good repair. The house, while definitely older, is well-maintained, and feels inviting and homey. Holly was super quick to communicate when we had questions. The kids adored watching and feeding the llamas and alpacas. The house is far away from all neighbors, so there was no worry that the kids squeals would annoy others. Several trains go through McCammon on the other side of the highway, and several of the little boys had great fun counting the numbers of cars on each one. We could definitely hear the trains and sometimes the road, but it wasnât loud or annoying. Overall, we all had a blast. In the words of the five-year-old, âI donât want to leave here. I want to come back again soon, ok?â
The house is cute as heck! You know how when you stay in a VRBO or the like and it just feels like a hotel with cheap furniture and decor? This one felt like an actual home. You can tell the owner cares about this place! And the llamas are just fun
Me and my family came here to have a little getaway at Lava Hot Springs. The house was about 10 minutes away from the springs, and it was very fun to come here after playing at the springs. The kids had a very fun time feeding with the lamas! I would deffenatly come here again. The only thing I would say is to make sure to bring your own shampoo, conditioner, ect., because they were not supplied. Other than that, It was great!
12 of us stayed. 3 Generations represented! Grandson, Wrestled at State Tournament in Pokey. The beds were so clean & comfy! The llamas added fun! The nearby Hot Springs were awesome! Awe were
What a cute place for our girlfriendâs big â0â birthday bash! It was perfect and we loved seeing deer, feeding the llamas, and time downtown in the hot springs. The host was great, and we enjoyed our time. Looking forward to bringing my family to come stay next time.
Perfect place to stay for a girls weekend at Lava! Plenty of space, host was quick to respond to questions and the llamas were so fun. Definitely will stay again!
The kids loved the llama and llampacas, there were games and entertainment while at the property. The kitchen could have had a smaller whisk and a pair of scissors but other than that everything was great.
Was a cute place to stay and the grandkids loved the Llamas and the game room. There are a few chairs broken and the key thing would not work when we first got there but got it. I think it ran out of batteries so could not lock the door. Found batteries and it started working again. Only like 10 min away from lava hot pots which was not to bad. Overall though it was fun and enjoyed each other.
Pleasantly surprised at the unique and fun stay! We had a great time and the only comment I can think to add to improve the stay would have been to have a few more items in the kitchen to use (mixing bowls and more kitchen towels).. but other than that- we LOVED it!
Enjoyed our stay in this spacious, clean property. Everything was there that we needed. Great game room and fun feeding apples to the llamas. Thank you!
We had to change thr date of our event. I tried many times to communicate the change with vrbo and was unable to get a response. I did message the owner of the house and there was a response however they still had us booked even though they were aware. I would never use this service again.
We enjoyed the property. Itâs unique and fun to explore. Teens found the Lamas and Alpacas fascinating and friendly. They fed them apple slices and carrots. Lots on living space and comfortable beds.
They let us check in early and it was close to Lava Hot Springs. The kids enjoyed the game room and feeding the Llamas & Alpacas. They especially enjoyed Llama Tina. It was a good space for our group and we enjoyed our stay. We would go there again if we came back.
The propane on the fireplace outside was out. The refrigerator was not that clean. The shower on the main level is clogged so it drains really slow.
But our family had a great time.
Thank you
The Alpaca YAY was a fun place to stay. We enjoyed the view and chance to get away. The place was clean, and spacious and bright. We only wished we could stay for more than one night. The host was helpful, really great. The whole stay was awesome, and I say, "FIRST RATE!"
We enjoyed our comfortable and cozy stay at the Lava Yay Frame! Loved that it is conveniently located just 10 minutes from downtown Lava. Perfect for a day at the Hot Springs. Bonus was getting to feed the Llamas! The kids enjoyed the baskets of toys and the adults enjoyed connecting over games around the large dinning room table. Thank you again for sharing your home.
