Nestled on 38 wooded acres, Fern Hill Cabin blends rustic charm with modern comfort at an affordable price—making it a favorite getaway for families, friends, and dog lovers alike. You’ll be just a short drive (10–20 minutes) to Hocking Hills’ most stunning attractions, or you can explore the peaceful trails and scenery right outside your door.

The main level welcomes you with soaring windows that flood the cabin with natural light. A cozy living space features a gas fireplace, dining area, and fully equipped kitchen with a built-in bar—perfect for gathering over meals or morning coffee on the upper deck. Two bedrooms, one full bath and a half-bath ensuite offer comfort and convenience on this floor.

Downstairs, you’ll find a spacious living room with a 65” TV, a fun two-player arcade with hundreds of games, plus board games and puzzles for unplugged evenings. A large third bedroom and full bath make this level ideal for spreading out.

Step outside to enjoy every season: soak in the hot tub after a day of hiking, gather around the custom firepit, grill out on the patio, or relax on the deck while your dog explores the yard and trails. Cabin was great. We did not use the hot tub at all. We come to Ohio every year and it never disappoints us. The only thing that would make the stay a little better would be a gas grill. Most days we don’t get until late and to deal with charcoal is a lot and is time consuming.

Properties is beautiful, house is well furnished, comfortable and spacious. Bed is very comfortable we slept great. Hot tub was just what we needed after a day of hiking the trails which are very close and convenient. House is amazingly clean. You would never know that this place is pet friendly. Enjoyed watching movies on the big screen downstairs. the spiral staircase was really cool.

A lot of steps. Okay for younger crowd. Seniors work getting everything to kitchen. Would be nice to have tv in the kitchen area. Catch news weather while having breakfast. Beautiful setting and very peaceful.

We enjoyed our stay at this property surrounded by woods. Very clean, all the amenities and the hot tub was big enough for 6 people and very clean. Communication with host was alway immediate whenever there was a question .Highly recommend.

Beautiful location

We met family for a birthday celebration weekend. The cabin was so cute & cozy feeling. The 3 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms worked great for us. Cozy Stay in the Woods

We loved our stay at Fern Hill! The house is exactly as pictured and was spotlessly clean. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms have been nicely updated (and have great water pressure). During the day, we enjoyed exploring the trails on the property when we weren't visiting Hocking Hills. In the evening, we hung out downstairs watching basketball and playing in the cozy living room. The host was very responsive to our questions and made us feel welcome - we will definitely visit again! (One last thing- we did find a couple of deer ticks on our dog and kids, so make sure to pack bug spray and check yourselves before you come inside!)
