Welcome to our cozy 4-bedroom vacation home in the charming town of Mayville! Nestled just a 10-minute drive from the renowned Chautauqua Institution and a 22-minute drive from the stunning shores of Lake Erie, this property offers the perfect base for your getaway.

As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a fully stocked kitchen, complete with a stove, oven, refrigerator, grill, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and all the dishes and utensils you'll need to whip up delicious meals. Unwind in the comfortable living room, or step outside and enjoy the breathtaking lake views from the property. Most recent updates include a completely renovated full bathroom, new exterior doors, new hot water tank, new grill, and new mattresses... plus the use of paddleboards, kayaks, and a canoe.

When it's time to relax, take advantage of the home's amenities, including WiFi, a washing machine and dryer, 1.5 bathrooms with towels and a hair dryer, an iron and board, and heating and linens to ensure your comfort. Weekend Stay

We rented the house with 3 families and had a great time. The house was very clean and was kept up nicely. The feedback we have is to describe how to dock your boat with the very shallow water at the shoreline. Also, the back bedroom had a musty smell. It would be nice if the house had A/C, but the owner had sufficient fans in every room. We had a great experience.

Needs some work

While we enjoyed the property and the beautiful spot on the lake, the place needs some work. It was necessary to open windows to allow airflow but the windows were very dirty. Lighting in the house was poor. My biggest complaint though was the goose poop all over the yard. It spent a couple of hours cleaning it up so we could use the yard.

Beautiful View and perfect for making memories

My family of six, including my 4 teen boys as well as my friend and her daughter had a wonderful time here. The cabin has a beautiful view and a nice sized deck and backyard for all kinds of activities. The house was clean and well stocked. The house was big enough to accommodate us comfortably but cozy enough that so much time was spent together. Teenagers have a habit of disappearing on their phones. Instead the days were spent floating and kayaking in the lake or playing yard games. Evenings we gathered around the fire pit and made smores and told ghost stories or sat around the table playing board games. We had a great stay and made some wonderful memories! 10/10 would stay again!

We stay here once-two times per year. We love the cottage because it’s roomy enough for 8 adults, it has a great kitchen that has all you need, Tops Markets is five minutes away, there’s a private dock. It just has all you would want.

Another Great Stay

There’s so many things to love about this Lakehouse. It’s right on the water so you get to see everything from the inside if the weather is too cool to be outside. Plus, there’s plenty of yard space for corn hole and bury fire pit. There’s a gas grill on the property so we were easily able to pair meals every night plus a full kitchen. This is our go to for when we want to stay at Lake Chautauqua!

Awesome get away

Great place for kids & pets as you have a very nice yard, dock to fish off of or just to sit & relax! Fire pit with chairs & even a hammock!! Plus a grill that was very clean! Cottage is set up with everything you will need ! Lots of small towns to visit & plenty of places to eat out if you want. Only complaint, we didn’t plan to stay longer. Hope to return soon !!! Nice to revisit Chautauqua Lake in this cozy cottage. Great time catching up with friends and family in beautiful lakefront setting. Took advantage of amenities like dock, firepit, large deck, propane grill, corn hole, hammock, etc. Fun for all ages, and our dog liked it too!
