'Probably the best beach on the big island and perfect relaxing oasis for big island excursions. This resort when fully operational is probably the epitome of discrete luxury with an eco sensibility. Manta was delicious. The staff were kind and went above and beyond to meet guest demands. The Manta moonlight excursion was magical. Sad that the pool was closed but as an ocean oriented family with a beautiful bay at our doorstep we didn't miss it. Banana bread is exceptional.'

'This property is spectacular. Stayed in a 2 bedroom unit. Unit was clean and updated. Incredibly comfortable with a great layout. Kudos to the property management group! The service was top notch. The views are beautiful and the area is tranquil. Nice pool, walking distance to beautif beach, and close to all the best beaches on Big Island. Been to Big Island many times but this place is hands down now at the top of the list for places to stay. '

'The property is on a secluded beach about a half hour from Kona. The Gold Orchid Lounge was really nice and included breakfast and appetizers as well as juice, coffee and water. Most of the staff were excellent. The bed was very comfortable. The beach was a great place to watch sunset. It is close to Blue Hawaiian helicopter tours. We tried the restaurant Brown’s beach house. The ambiance with live music was nice. '
