'I liked the kitchen area in the room; it was useful. I liked the location being near to the Hospital.
Check out time was 11am. My husband had surgery all morning. When I returned at 10:45 to retrieve our things the housekeeper per "directions from my manager" had cleared our room out. I don't know how long it takes her to clean a room but she had to be in the room by 10:am in order to have the room all clean and our things taken out. My husbands backpack was open and clothes were stuffed in...

The breakfast was nice. The only thing was I think they forgot to change the bed sheets and they smelled really bad. The staff was able to help us giving us new sheets.
The pool and spa area is cool.'

'Biggest complaint is they allowed for people to party from 6pm all the way to 6am. Blasting music. Slamming doors. Yelling. So disturbing for our vacation and we had our young son. They offered an accommodation the next night but we didn’t take it as we weren’t coming back until late. My other complaint is no towels in the pool area the entire trip. Other than that our stay was great! The building was clean. Always someone at the front desk. Easy to navigate through.'

'The Candlewood Suites is a relatively basic hotel, but set up for long-term stays. The queen bed was of good quality, but not overly large. The room comes with stove, microwave, and full-size refrigerator and a host of kitchen amenities. Plus a list of additional utilities that can be borrowed from the front desk. Only a few minutes away from PDX and within walking distance of e.g. Budget and Trifty.
