Beware! I would give Negative Stars if possible
What a disappointment. This place was FILTHY! We rented this house for 3 nights but only stayed 1. As soon as you walk in the door, you’ll be met by a mildew smell from the basement that permeates the back half of the house and a basket of worn out dog towels to use for the hot tub. Make your way through the rickety door to reveal a haphazardly cleaned kitchen. Sure, the counters were wiped, but the Keurig machine still had grounds in it, the oven had burnt on residue, the refrigerator had crumbs everywhere, the pans were scratched beyond use, and there was grease splattered on the ceiling above the stove. The dining table was surrounded by old desk chairs from NMU. The living room couch and chair were damaged and dirty. All the baseboards, cabinets, door jams, doors, and light switches in the house were caked with dust and dirt. The sheets in the main bedroom had human hair on them. My family slept on our beach towels. The host reached out to me on the VRBO app to take out the last renter’s trash. I didn’t answer the message right away, and he tried to call my personal phone to make sure I did his chores. I reached out to VRBO for the host to check on the complaints. After his walk through, Tyler didn’t see any of these things as issues. I asked for a partial refund because of the filth and Tyler refused. While he was very close to his phone when he needed something from us, he waited hours to message back and blew me off like my concerns were nothing. Very unprofessional.
