'I've been to this hotel many times and previously loved it, due to the location, but especially because of the service.
This time, the entire feeling was different. The service was very poor. Staff were actually rude at times. Just one example- We waited in the Sports Bar for over an hour after ordering our food with the waiter telling us, the food would be coming out soon. After an hour, he finally admitted that the chef had just arrived, because they didn't actually open until 1:30pm? '

'Wonderful staff, very kind, helpful, above and beyond whenever they could. Our AC in our room broke, and when they couldn't fix it, we were immediately upgraded to a different room, all within 30 mins of our initial phone call to the desk! Very, very impressed with their response and care. The walk over to the beach side is nice, a little long in the heat, but not bad at all. All the swim up bars and pools were lovely. The entrance to the Marina boardwalk is right by the lobby, and pickup...

'The woman who helped us check in to our room, answered all our questions and offered us coffee was lovely. Instructions on how to access the hotel and which building it was was unclear, and when I called the number provided the man was not very welcoming. We enjoyed the shared outdoor space, the air conditioning in the room and the proximity to the airport and downtown. '

'Pues, fue toda una aventura: el elevador decorativo no servía, parecía más escultura que transporte. No había agua caliente, así que ducha fría forzada. Todo el edificio estaba en obra y lleno de polvo, como vivir en una construcción. De noche las escaleras estaban a oscuras, un deporte extremo. Lo único rescatable: el departamento estaba bonito, y eso que ni luz tenía. En fin, una experiencia para recordar... para no repetir.'
