Three Horses Ranch offers the perfect escape in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. Located in Johnson City, this artsy gem is only thirty minutes from Fredericksburg and just minutes from several wonderful wineries. A plethora of activities and stunning scenery await you at the famous Pedernales Fall State Park just a short fifteen minute drive away.
At the ranch the serenity of your surroundings are sure to melt away your troubles. Take in the beauty of a starry night sky as you unwind in your private swimming pool or lounge on the large deck right outside your back door as you watch the deer grazing nearby. A hammock provides a relaxing spot for a nap in the breeze, and on those chilly winter nights gather around the outdoor fire pit with hot chocolate and roasted marshmallows. There is a very friendly dog and a cat at this property.

This delightful retreat has an open floor plan with an inviting living room, kitchen and dining area. The master suite offers a queen bed and a cheery private bath. In the living area the queen sofa sleeper allows for two additional guests who will enjoy the comfort and convenience of their own full bathroom.

The property is very unique and eclectic. It was a perfect paradise for my husband, our dog & I. The pool and patio were beautiful and had everthing we needed. It was still hot weather so the unheated pool was refreshing. The kitchen was everything we needed prepare meals. Town was only minutes away for going out to eat or shop.We had all the privacy we wanted. We would stay again.

Relaxing getaway

This property is remote while being close to lots to do.The property was clean and well maintained. The king bed was so comfy.The pool and deck were my favorite place when we came in from Fredericksburg, Wimberly and San Marcos. We needed a quiet get away and it was perfect for us, but with the extra beds and 2 full bathrooms it would be great for a family with kids too. We would highly recommend this amazing property

My 10yo son, our pup, and I had such a wonderful time here! Such a charming ranch home to spend a relaxing time in. The kitchen is equipped with everything you’d need - the best I’ve ever encountered during vacation rental stays. There is a crate, bed, toys, water and food bowls for dogs. The pool, hot tub, hammock, swing, and rocking chairs are all well maintained and such fantastic perks to staying here. We are also grateful for the ranch kitty overlords and appreciate that they let us pet them. We will definitely be back!

The property is perfect with the refreshing pool, deck for sipping coffee, friendly horses nearby, and the surrounding natural views of Texas Hill country. The place is quiet and peaceful and yet only 7 minutes to Johnson City. The owner, Tami, is very friendly and has stocked the house better than most VRBOs with plenty of coffee, paper products, kitchen/bathroom/laundry supplies, towels, pool toys, etc. We essentially didn’t need a thing and loved our week long trip.

TRANQUILITY, PEACE, JOY, NATURE

Property was just as listed. We weren't expecting a five star hotel. But it was a five star home nestled away in nature. Best place if you have a pet. Very roomy. Enough to sleep six people perhaps 7. All the amenities of home are provided. Also, not far from civilization only five minutes to the main road. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much.
