Excellent location for accessing Malmesbury. We were in a stable room so lovely to come and go without stairs. Our car was able to park adjacent. Room clean and comfortable.
Room was very cold when we arrived as no heating was switched on. Room was small but clean and bed was very comfy. Only tapas was available, but nice Italian restaurant nearby
OK place to stay - bit of a squeeze to get in the car park - clean and comfortable chalet style room.
Several eating options in local area.
Very historic town.
The Kings Arms Coaching Inn is a rather quirky place to stay, partly updated and partly still a bit oldy worldly. It has a very friendly atmosphere and staff and we enjoyed our 6 night stay very much. We used it as our base for walks in the country side, visiting family and a trip to Bath. The food is good too, and we were also impressed by the local Italian style restaurants, especially Aroma.
We enjoyed our stay, in the main building above the pub. The entrance to the car park is tight, but plenty of space when you reach it. There is a pub garden at the back, with a decent west-facing view. Our room was fine and cost as described. We had a good nights sleep. Room did everything expected of it. Bar downstairs is a nice place to have a drink. Top location, right in the centre of Malmesbury.
We stayed for 1 night in an annex room (the stables). If you stay in the pub, you might have noise, but the annex was quiet and it was a Friday night! The room is very close to the beer garden and has an amazing view (closes at 10pm). Parking is in the rear next to the annex rooms. It's a tight squeeze between the buildings if you have a large car! The room was small, but adequate for a 1 night stay. Amazing bakery next door for your breakfast! Enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
Iliked the positioning of the bedrooms, also their decor. The staff were friendly, the Tapas evening meal was tasty and delivered with good service.
The entrance to the car park at the back of the hotel was quite narrow, but doable, rewarded by the splendid view from the terrace.
Everting we wanted to see was within easy walking distance.
We enjoyed our stay at this traditional coaching inn.It was a shame there was no breakfast provided, but there were option very close by, so it wasn't a big problem
Gorgeous old coachingi inn in Malmesbury. We arrived nearly 2 hours early but no issues, a room was available. And I must lovely service from the lady at reception. We stayed in the old stables so room out back which was super quiet, very comfortable and good size. Nespresso in the room and they happened to have my favourite capsules "Cape Town Enviro". One suggestion would be to only have bathtowels, eapecially for overnight visitors Id suggest two towels each not needed. Lovely stay.
Hotel and pub are lovely but we were woken at 7.45am on Sunday morning by scaffolding being taken down. No apology or compensation offered and this level of noise outside a hotel in the morning is totally unacceptable
