comfortabel hotel niet ver van het station
Geschikt hotel voor een kort verblijf in Málaga. Locatie is op loopafstand van het station en centrum stad, hoewel je ook met de bus (3 haltes) naar het centrum kunt. Groot winkelcentrum dichtbij.

Prima hotel
Dit is een nette en prima hotel op loopafstand van het (historisch) centrum, ongeveer 10-15 min lopen. Fijne en ruime kamer, iedere ochtend wordt de kamer netjes opgeruimd en schoongemaakt met schone handdoeken. Ontbijt zeer uitgebreid en heerlijk, alleen erg irritant dat het personeel snel je bord en kopjes weghaalt terwijl je nog aan het eten bent. WiFi is erg slecht op de kamer, alleen in de ontbijtruimte doet ie het goed. De vrouwelijke receptionistes waren erg behulpzaam en vriendelijk, de mannelijke daarentegen kortaf en niet gastvrij, een beetje jammer. Voor mensen die wat slechter ter been zijn deze tip: ongeveer 100 meter verder van het hotel kan je bus 14 nemen. Deze stopt bij het centrum, Alcazaba, het kasteel en rijdt tevens helemaal door naar het Malagueta-strand, echt ideaal als het te warm is of als je het te ver vindt om naar het strand te lopen. Ritje kost € 1,30.

Het personeel is erg vriendelijk. Je kan vanuit dit hotel heel makkelijk naar andere steden met het openbaar vervoer.

Goede service, heel vriendelijk, behulpzaam personeel, lekker ontbijt ! Alleen jammer dat het een tweepersoonsbed was. Voor vrienden niet altijd ideaal. Het hotel ligt buiten het centrum, 20 min wandelen. Prijs - kwaliteit heel goed !

Modern hotel op loopafstand van centrum en strand
Hotel is gelegen vlakbij het station Maria Zambrano, vanuit het hotel is het een aardige wandeling van ca 15 minuten naar het (oude) centrum of naar het strand. Het is een redelijk nieuw hotel en is onderdeel van een geheel nieuw winkelcomplex. Het hotel heeft op de eerste verdieping een eigen parkeerdek voor haar gasten (niet gratis). Het hotel beschikt over 3 liften waardoor zeer snel een vrije lift beschikbaar is. En zoals al in meerdere reviews gemeld een zeer uitgebreide ontbijtkeuze!

Leuk hotel voor citytrip
Prima ligging, op ca. 8 min lopen van station malaga maria zambrano en 20 min lopen van het centrum. Ontbijtbuffet was zeer uitgebreid met diverse soorten brood, beleg, yoghurt, zoetigheden, eieren, fruit en een diversiteit aan sappen. De standaard kamer was prima, bed alleen aan de korte kant als je langer bent dan 1,80 en erg warm. Hadden een kamer op de 4de verdieping met zicht op parkeerplaats.

Leuk centraal hotel
Mooi hotel, in een groot winkelcentrum, vlak bij het busstation en op 10 min loop afstand van het centrum. De haven is op 15 min loop afstand en het populaire strand op 20 min afstand. Er zit een goeie bakker voor het ontbijt in de straat tegenover het hotel en naast El Corte Ingles. Op zondag zijn alle winkels dicht, zelfs de musea gaan eerder dicht. Maar de horeca blijft natuurlijk open en de winkeltjes in de haven zijn ook open. De busreis vanaf het vliegveld naar het busstation kost maar €3 pp.

Overall I was really happy with this hotel and would come again and recommend it. The hotel room was the best room I’ve stayed in, had no issues with the room or bathroom. Room was big, beds and pillows were comfortable. Location was perfect, it’s connected to a shopping mall and there’s a grocery store in that mall which is literally a 1 minute walk away. You can take a train or the bus to the airport, bus stops and train station local. The port is around 15/20 minute walk away. We walked everywhere as the hotel is basically in the centre. There’s a local park across the road. My only complaints were the breakfast could have definitely been a lot better, there wasn’t hardly any variety. No salad/vegetables. I think for vegetarian people they should have this so there’s more options.

Easy to find at rear of distinctive shopping centre. Reception staff very helpful and friendly. Very clean and modern throughout, good wifi, good shower, very quiet room. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast available, terrace area very nicely done. Very convenient for main train station, walking distance to bars, restaurants,etc. Slightly longer walk to older part of city. Very enjoyable stay.

La primera noche a las cinco de la madrugada me tuve que cambiar w habitación por ruidos. La habitación no estaba en condiciones de limpieza. No tiene Cafeteria ,con lo cual si quieres tomar un café tienes que salir a la calle . En general parece un hotel de polígono industrial.No lo recomendaría a nadie.

Excellent friendly and efficient staff. Super breakfast. Close to good bus service for the city. Building works were proceeding at the reception area and the staff were doing their best to cope. Very nice room ; bed and bath / shower all very good. although a "walk in" shower would be a good addition esp. for the older guests like us ! All said, a very good hotel for visiting Malaga.

The hotel lies between the main train station and the city centre at the back of one of the city's main shopping centres. The room was really spacious which was a pleasant surprise. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast had plenty of choices. The hotel is currently being renovated so the entrance, ground and first floor areas look rather unattractive. We understand that the current hotel rates are lower due to the renovation works, so as they did not inconvenience us at all, we are very satisfied with our stay.

Good location, but we had a rather bad experience here. They placed us and our 1year old daughter in a floor that was being refurbished and was half done, so the works were in progress, half the rooms open, and no hot water. They have rooms available on floors that were finished. Why ours was in the middle of a work site still baffles me. They also charged by mistake two full breakfasts for a 1 year old, which should have been free. They couldn't refund because the reservation was done online. I had also paid for a room for my mum. The second day, they chased me during the breakfast saying we had to pay for my mum's breakfast. Which was a mistake on their part and was paid. But even if it wasn't, you don't chase someone around the breakfast room, in front of other guests, accusing them of not paying. 5 times. With redirecting them to reception is enough. The fifth time I just had to, not nicely anymore, they could discount the damned breakfast from one of the two extra ones they charged for my daughter. I thought a Meliá stranded for better. A pity because the rooms were nice.

Great location near the bus and railway stations and beside the Larios shopping centre. Very quiet, newly refurbished rooms and an excellent breakfast. I always stay here when in Málaga.

Some good, some hard to ignore bad.
The hotel is clean and well located, staff are really friendly and helpful. The double room we had was fine, decent size with a small sofa / table area. However, this is the first hotel I’ve ever been in that doesn’t supply drinking water in the room daily, you have to buy it in the foyer. The breakfast, while it looks ok at a glance, is pretty awful. The coffee the the machine produces was undrinkable and made me feel ill, the scrambled eggs were made from a cheap powder mix, and the selection of hot food was incredibly limited. We were there 6 nights and every day was - small sausage, thin bacon, fried egg, powdered scrambled eggs. Then there’s the usual sliced fruit / pastries which were fine. The “natural” Orange juice was also concentrate, really disappointing for the price to be honest.

Been to this hotel 3 times and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Rooms are always clean, quit comfortable and spacious. My only comment would be that having a kettle in the room would come in handy to families travelling with babies or small children as we had to keep going to the restaurant to fill our thermos with boiling water so we could take our sons food with us everyday.

Sadly this is NOT a 4 star or anything like, the photos do NOT reflect what you get, the gym is tiny and in an old room with 3 pieces of equipment, one of the reasons i booked this particular hotel. Breakfast is ok but nothing like displayed on the photos, staff were friendly and the ladies on reception were excellent, not so much the gentleman who seemed to have little interest. The hotel is placed near the train and bus station but a long walk from the beach. Rooms were adequate but very tired, i actually left 2 days early as i was extremely disappointed with facilities, no tea making facility only a coffee vending machine in reception, not whar i expected for £1000 a week, i doubt Melia have inspected this place in 10 years so would completely diregard the Melia affiliation. This is travelodge standard, certainly now what was advertised, i would suggest Hotels.com take the rating to 2 star
