Fast and easy check-in and check-out. Front office staffs are friendly and helpful. The room is huge and clean. The hotel also offer free shuttle service to Jonker Street but will need to register at the concierge as there will be limited seats for each trip. Will definitely recommend this hotel. Thumbs up.

Lobby is huge, property is clean. Do take note that 2 double beds is misleading on expedia. It actually means 2 single beds as i was corrected by hotel staff during checkin. In Taipei courtyard Marriot. 2 double beds literally means 2 double beds. I would still give 5 stars for the value

A let down for a Marriot hotel
Check-in was bad. At the peak when customer check in, there was only 2 staff, at 7pm, there was 6 staff manning the counters, resulting in long check-in time. Lobby and lift has a strange foul smell. Room is not carpeted and without floor mat for the toilet. Drinks, cups etc are hidden in a cupboard. For a hotel carrying Marriot's branding, it is utterly a let down.

Hotel.com label it wrongly as 4Star, it actually a 3 Star. It is a huge disappointment for the mistake because the price of 4Star. - Cheap renovation design and material - Bad sound proofing - low quality mattress (the spring noise is loud) - long waiting to check in - no view, the room facing residential block - breakfast not enough sitting and additional charge for kids + clean and new + service is fast and good ( when request additional pillow)

We stayed at Courtyard Marriott Melaka for 4 days 3 nights. It is a new hotel in Melaka and my family decided to give it a try for our recent stay. The room configuration of a deluxe suite is good for family of three. However, we were terribly alarmed and learned by accident that their room attendants were not changing or cleaning up the room cups and cutleries using the dishwasher detergents, and they were wiping the water-rinsed cups and cutleries using an used towel that had been used for the past how many rooms that they were cleaning. This is really a serious breach of hygiene which we could not accept for a hotel under Marriott chain. You do not know what could have been transmitted from room to room if there is someone sick from the early room(s) that the room attendants had cleaned and used the contaminated cloth to wiped the other rooms' cups and cutleries. The management needs to seriously look into this lapse of hygiene practice to upkeep the chain's name. To future guests of Courtyard Marriott at Melaka, please ensure your room cups and cutleries are cleaned before used.

The noise of door closing by other rooms are relatively loud. The breakfast crowd handling for weekdays is efficient.while the breakfast spread is good, the quality can definitely be improved. Car parking, checking in and choices of pillows are the plus points.

We booked for 3 person to a room. But only came with 2 beds. No extra single bed. And all items in the hotel room is meant for 2 person only including towel, pillow, toiletries, etc. And everyday we have to have inform housekeeping to give us 3 sets of the necessities. Every time after housekeeping they again put back only 2 sets of necessities. Wasn’t the housekeeping being already informed there are 3 guest in this room.

A new hotel located around 10 min drive away from Jonker Walk. The surrounding is quiet which I appreciate. Staff is extremely helpful and check-in and out is a breeze. The breakfast spread is excellent. A few negative points are breakfast timing is too short even on weekends. In addition, the toilet configuration is quite bad. By the time we finished showering, half of the toilet floor will be ponded with water. The bath tub is too high and it even difficult for me to get up and down let alone a child or elderly. No matter how you shower, water will flow out via the sides of the tub and out of the glass door, which is quite useless. The hotel should just get rid of bathtub and install a shower area will do. In addition, a small step should be included in the bathroom for kids. It’s impossible for my child to use the tap.
