'Beautiful stay and great hospitality'

'This hotel is one of the best I have seen in a long time. The furniture is modern and comfortable, the room was with oceanview. The light morning snack (croissant and croissant au chocolat) was good to get the day started. The whole experience left a very warm feeling.'

'Beautiful inn in a safe quiet neighborhood. Walking distance to downtown Rockland. Spacious clean room, tasteful decor, friendly owners. Especially enjoyed the coffee machine and breakfast options in the morning. Perfect spot for a fun Maine weekend!'

'This is a 2.5-3.0 hotel priced as a 3.5-4.0. Granted, we were there on July 4th weekend but the rates were still over priced. Yes, it has a view of the harbor…looking over a busy street and right in front of a busy ferry stop. You can’t keep shades open during the summer day to enjoy the view because the sun blazes through and warms the small room. You can’t sit on the balcony because the A/C unit blows hot air on you as it runs to keep the room cool. The room we were in had been updated a bit....

'Had no idea that the hotel was going to be under construction and the scaffolding was right outside my window with men working on it windows were covered up with plastic. Complained about the people above me not sure what was going on. I wasn’t sure if there was kids with scooters going back-and-forth or a large dog, but it was driving me crazy I called down three times and went down to the front desk and got no answers or any solution.'

'There was little to no hot water during our stay. The front desk staff assured us a manager would be in touch, but that never happened.'

'The woman at the front desk was such a ray of light, both in the afternoon and in the morning. She was smiling and genuinely pleasant and helpful. The property is well maintained and it looked like they really took pride is keeping it up. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure and temp as they should be. Breakfast was really nice, especially for being listed as continental. There were muffins, bagels, hard boiled eggs, cereal, oatmeal, juices, and a waffle iron. We’d stay again if ever...

'Beautiful quaint hotel, they definitely took the time to decorate and add amenities to the rooms. We stayed in the Paris room and loved it. The hotel is in walking distance to downtown Camden, so much to do. I highly recommend staying there.'

'I chose this one over others for pool because was going to be hot weekend and the pool was dirty and not open. First day they said would be ready for tomorrow but when we left 2 days later still no pool. The room we got had a bathroom sink so clogged the water wouldn’t drain at all. They had no maintenance on site so they had to put us in another room. Just inconvenience to pack up and relocate. I would not stay there again.'
