Perfect location with easy access to Mahone Bay, Lunenburg and Halifax. Sunroom an excellent asset to the property. Easy to enjoy a dinner at home eating in the sunroom. Would definitely stay here again

Lisette’s Home was even better than advertised. Her hospitality was evident everywhere, with books, pillows, amenities in the kitchen, and in the bathroom, and more. Perfectly clean, in a beautiful setting. I suspect everyone comments on the sunroom entry … a marvelous feature. I hadn’t visited Mahone Bay for 56 years, and staying and wandering in the town made it seem like it was just as I remembered, but with more lovely places to eat, of course.

Great little cottage! Perfect location for walking to town and bike trail. We had a brief two night stay and wish we had stayed longer. Such a wonderful quaint town. Even though the weather forecast initially called for rain most of our stay it ended up being overcast with mostly light rain during the days so we were able to get out and enjoy the time we had. I did find some time to read in the solarium! It was peaceful. We would stay here again should we make it back to Lunenburg.

We had an amazing stay at this charming boho cottage! It was cozy, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a relaxing family getaway. The sunroom quickly became our favorite spot to enjoy a morning coffee or unwind after a day of exploring. The location is perfect—within walking distance to the town and close to so many incredible attractions and beaches. We spent our days exploring Peggy’s Cove, hiking through Ovens Natural Park, discovering the mystery of Oak Island on both the boat and land tours, and making unforgettable memories playing in the big ocean waves at Hirtle’s Beach. The cottage was spotless, comfortable, and felt like a true home away from home. If you’re looking for a peaceful place to stay while exploring Nova Scotia’s South Shore, this is it. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

The property is very close to town and the wooded trail nearby made it perfect for our stay. The rooms were cozy and comfortable. The owner was easy to reach and responded quickly, and reached out to make sure everything was going well. This was an ideal place to stay while we explored the south shore.

Lisette’s property is a quiet little retreat to settle in after a day of exploring. Walking distance to shops and restaurants with all of the amenities to cook your own meals if you choose. Beautiful

Nice place to stay in Mahone Bay

We enjoyed our stay at this comfortable and very nicely decorated cottage. Everything we needed was there and it was an easy walk to shops and restaurants in Mahone Bay and a short drive to Lunenburg. It is around the corner from the bike trail.

Quiet oasis!

Wonderful cottage within walking distance or easy drive of amenities, such as shops, coffee bars and restaurants. Lisette's on Long Hill is perfectly located to use as a home base to visit Mahone Bay, Lunenburg, The Ovens and many parts in between. We highly recommend.

The cutest place ever with adorable charm! Our family loved staying here. Very inviting. Lisette had everything you could think of available to make us feel at home. Wish we could have stayed longer and would love to come back! So nice to be able to bring our dog Ruby as well. Close access to the trails, restaurants and shops. Would definitely recommend!

Great place to stay in Mahone Bay

Lisette's property was the ideal place to stay on the South Shore. The convenient location made it central to everything you would want to visit in the area. The home felt like a home with all you would ever need. Quiet street with a trail close by. The attention to detail and all yours needs are included right down to a well stocked coffee machine.

Warm and welcoming stay in Mahone Bay

Lisette’s house was everything we wanted and more. She has created an inviting yet organized space with everything we could need and more - including kitchen essentials and a take home jar of sea glass! The sun porch was so lovely so sit out on too. Thank you for helping to make our stay one to remember!
