'From beginning to end, we have no complaints about this listing. The description is spot on and if anything, the villa is better in real life than on the photos. With 7 rooms across 2 floors and sofa beds, it can easily and comfortably host big families and friends. It is very well equipped, even with a washer and dishwasher which were super helpful, as well as with an AC in every room. The common infinity pool was relaxing and well maintained. 'C'est un petit coin de Paradis : rien n'est plus vrai. L'âme de la maison, Isabelle a su allier confort et déco. Les 2 adorables fées du logis, Kavita et Meera nous ont régalé de leur cuisine , de leurs bons soins et de leur bienveillance. Le très discret Vishal, qui entretient si bien le magnifique jardin arrivait parfois avec un noix de coco préparée pour la dégustation. Nous nous sentions comme chez nous , mais au Paradis ;-)'

'Beautiful group of four identical houses made of stone and solid concrete, with modern comfort, pool and garden. The latter are smaller than they look on the website pictures though. Location is somehow noisy from 8 am to 11 pm due to the nearby Intl airport runway. We experienced the visit of a mouse every evening around 9pm from underneath the main door. Not a big deal but surprising! Pool and garden are cleaned during the stay and Venitah took very good care of us and of the place...

Das Haus ist in die Jahre gekommen, doch man sieht, dass sich die Besitzer sehr gut um den Unterhalt kümmern. Die Umgebung wird täglich von einem Gärtner gepflegt und drinnen sorgt eine Haushalthilfe für Sauberkeit. Das Haus ist sehr schön und liebevoll eingerichtet, tolle Dekorationen und Farben. 'Bonjour, nous avons adoré notre séjour. C’est un petit coin de paradis. L’hébergement est très confortable et jolie. Les proprio étaient très serviable. Nous avons pu faire un départ tardif sans problème. La plage de Blue Bay est tout près. Je recommande fortement.'

'We enjoyed our stay with 2 (older) kids. Very quiet beach. Unseasonably strong winds for end April/early May made the kite surfers happy. The owners are very kind and helpful with lots of advise. They even provided welcome supplies. We would definitely recommend this home!'

'Traumlage, Traumhaus, leider schlecht in Schuss und lieblos betreut. Wir fanden nicht einmal genug Gläser für uns alle 7 vor und kauften nach. Auch Töpfe und Pfannen mussten wir vor Gebrauch abwaschen und den gesamten Geschirrspüler komplett reinigen. Den beiden Damen vor Ort kauften wir Putzmittel. Aber Lage und Ausblick sowie die Architektur des Hauses waren wirklich sehr sehr schön.'

'Villa très bien placée, direct plage. grand espace, personnel très serviable. Presence d un cuisinier surcplace si besoin. Le seul bemol pour nous faire payer, la lessive , les dosettes de lave vaiselle, les dosettes de café, et quelques Sodas et bieres, dommage qu une option incluant ces quelques services ne soit pas presente à la réservation. '

'La villa Maya a été un véritable havre de paix pour nous à partir duquel nous avons organisé notre découverte de cette île splendide. Du Morne Brabant, au Cap Malheureux en passant par Pamplemousse, le parc de la Rivière Noire ou l'Ile aux cerfs, nous avons sillonné l'île depuis Trou d'eau douce avec facilité. 'Value for money if you're on a budget. Positives are location with a private beach and kind of out of the crowded spots of Mauritius. Excellent staff and Mr. Shreeni the manager is an asset for their company. He manages his clients efficiently. Negatives are power cuts & related water problems are there, bit of a old villa and not a carpeted one for a 3 star status. '

Mooie omgeving, veel natuur en mooi strand Seasons restaurant prima, uitgebreide kaart. Eigenaar echte gastheer, hij maakte met zijn warme welkom in het restaurant onze rommelige checkin meer dan goed. 'J'ai beaucoup cherché avant de trouver cette maison. Au niveau du budget c'est parfait. 2 charmantes personnes tous les matins pour le ménage, le linge et un peu de cuisine. Jeannette et Josiane sont super gentilles et Josiane cuisine très bien. A 2 km du bourg de Trou d'eau douce pour les courses et les restaurants. A ce sujet nous conseillons Case poissons. 'La villa est très bien placée, à quelques mètres d'une très belle plage. Il faut une voiture car il n'y a aucun commerce et restauration accessibles à pied à proximité. La maison est grande mais n'a rien d'une villa de rêve : manque d'entretien général. C'est dommage car il suffirait de quelques petits travaux et nouvelle décoration pour la rendre plus agréable à vivre. Il faudrait la traiter également contre les cafards. Nous n'avons eu aucun accueil, ni de contact avec le propriétaire durant...

'Très bon accueil des hôtes qui vivent au rez-de-chaussée. Ils nous ont simplifié beaucoup de choses notamment le check-in et le check-out (nous avions un avion tôt le matin) Nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison. Nous recommandons vivement. Merci'

'The stay was super spacious with a great outdoor covered patio. We were able to make last minute arrangements to stay an extra day when our flights were delayed because of cyclone Freddy. We felt very safe in the home. Location is a short drive to Mahebourg. Didn’t get a chance to enjoy the pool but it certainly looked inviting!'

'We would give this 4.5 if we could... The location on the water is amazing and its a really easy walk in to town and a five minute drive to two fantastic beaches. The view and garden is great even if the sea isnt really for swimming in. The hosts were also great and really nice. The only downside is the house is definitely starting to need a little updating... Its a little 'rustic' etc. Still nice though!'
