'Amazing stay.everything about the place was fantastic!'

'Bar was niet open'

'good staff and restaurant. rooms can use a refurb. toilet would not flush, fixed myself.'

'Didn’t stay in the end. The owner wanted personal ID upfront via a picture When I questioned why he wanted my personal details and asked about GDPR rules he said if I want to cancel just cancel I tried to but it was too late so I lost my money '

'Good location, but some things could be improved We stayed at the hotel and overall had a mixed experience. The location is very good—it’s not far from the city centre and also not far from the train station, which was very convenient. The first room we were given had a double bed, which was fine as I was staying with my daughter. However, the shared shower was not working properly and there was no hot water. Thankfully, Joan was very helpful when we contacted her and arranged for us to move...

'This great hotel just 10 mins walk from the town centre is the best I have stayed in for the price. Staff were very polite and helpful. The single bedroom, though small, had all one could hope for, clean and well stocked, even little biscuits as a welcome. The shower was the best I have ever used in a hotel or guest house. I stayed just one night and did not take in the breakfast, but dining area seemed well appointed.'

'We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was fantastic, right in the centre and so convenient for getting around. The apartment was lovely and clean, and we felt very comfortable during our stay. There were just a couple of small things worth mentioning — the fan in the bedroom was a little noisy, and the window didn’t block out all the light in the morning. But these were minor things, and overall we had a really lovely stay. We’d happily stay here again!'

'Great for one night stay on way north to Glasgow.'

'Was convenient. The breakfast was not so great but I like the hotel'

'Do not stay here. Very dirty & lots of spiders'

'The room was clean and the staff was very helpful especially Barbaea.'

'Location'

'Room was clean. Plenty of space, living area, bathroom and kitchen appliances (washer and Stove). Staff were very helpful, polite and assisted with luggage on arrival. Given directions to public parking lot just around the corner, with entrance from the rear of the pub also providing access to the parking lot. (Pay and display). Lot clears out after school day ends, and first hour free, no charge 6pm to 8am, the first hour free the next day. Had supper at the venue, good food, basic menu....

'Great - clean and not too far in a taxi from Sowerby Bridge (steep incline if walking!)'

'Very clean and neath room. Breakfast was great.'
