Utrecht and Amsterdam are easily accessible, while Nyenrode University and the beautiful Loosdrecht Lakes are also a short distance away by foot, bicycle, boat or car. Within a few minutes you can walk to bars and restauranta along the Vecht canal and to the shopping street plus a number of grocery stores. The train to Utrecht Central station takes only 9 mins and 25 mins to Amsterdam Amstel station. Schiphol airport is just a 25 minute car ride. Free parking in front.

The spacious eat-in kitchen with 4 bar chairs forms the heart of the home and is equipped with a large kitchen island and Quooker hot water faucet, two combi ovens/microwaves, two refrigerators with a small freezer, a Dishwasher, a five-burner Induction stove, Trash compactor, Toaster, Nespresso machine, Air fryer and wine fridge. Meals can be served on the elegant wooden dining table with 8 chairs for long dinners and cozy evenings or outside in the garden.

GARDEN ENTERTAINMENT
At the rear, there is an atmospheric and private sunny garden facing South. Here you can relax on the lounge set, enjoy a meal at the large dining table with, and make use of the gas barbecue on warm summer evenings. At night, the Malibu spot lights will lighten the garden, trees, and Bali umbrellas at the sound of a small fountain.

- In the Second floor (Attic), facing the front of the house and river, is a King size boxspring bed plus a large Closet area. The bath room has a single sink with faucet, toilet and a shower that doubles as a Japanese soaking tub.

- There is also a sunny office space separated from the sleeping area, facing south and the Garden, with 2 large desks, a color printer and high speed KPN fiber network. Separate is a Laundry room with large Washer/Dryer, small kitchenette, high power steam iron, and drying racks.

ENVIRONMENT
This is a typical Dutch canal house surrounded by many 17th century canal houses, old style Boats moored along the river, many large old style mansions and some castles, tea domes and a beautiful scenery. From the Master bedroom and the Attic you can see the Entrance and Clock tower of a next-door castle with moat called Bolenstein.

Optionally the sloop moored in front of the canal house can be rented for max 9 persons (at extra charge - with or without a Captain - to sail the river to other villages like Breukelen, Nieuwersluis, Loenen and Vreeland, go under the bridges and/or go through the locks to Loosdrechtse Lakes and Utrecht. There are numerous restaurants along the Vecht river reachable by car, foot, bicycle or boat with beautiful water views. Two beach cruise bicycles with 21 gears can be used free or charge.
