'Wat een verrassing, dit hotel. Kleinschalig, maar brandschone, comfortabele kamers. Ontbijt eenvoudig maar prima en voldoende. Loopafstand naar het strand ongeveer 10 minuten. Snorkelspullen en strandhanddoeken gratis te gebruiken. Medewerkers supervriendelijk en steeds bereid om het de gasten naar de zin te maken. Vooraf via WhatsApp contact gehad en afspraken gemaakt. Snelle reactie. Zelden zo naar mijn zin gehad in een hotel!'

'The whole experience was above and beyond our expectations. Starting with the home reefs that is so rich in marine life, we felt we didn't need to go to another place for snorkeling. The bungalows were outstanding, and had everything we needed for spending our vacation days in great comfort. The whole staff is so friendly and extremely attentive to every small detail that felt like they were in our heads, anticipating any needs we had and being so friendly and helpful. 'Dual experience: very good things, like bikini beach, comfort of the room, free snorkeling sets, front staff, seaview. Compared to less good things, the restaurant was very dark, the (buffet) food of low quality yes there is a gym, which is really spacious, but it's filled with cheap crappy equipment and has a very limited opening time (why?!?!)'

'We zijn eerder op het eiland Maafushi geweest maar voor het eerst in Kaani beach hotel. Deze accommodatie is een prima plek op Maafushi en lekker aan het strand. Een klein min puntje is dat de bedjes tegen betaling zijn. Dit komt omdat dat van een andere uitbater is. Maar tegen een tarief van een drankje zijn de bedjes en parasol gratis dus een prima deal. Aan het zwembad boven op het dak zijn de bedjes wel gewoon gratis.'

'We've spend three nights at this hotel. It's well located, the room was spacious and the bed was good. The staff was friendly, but for several times we repeatedly had to ask for laundry service (7 times!) and room cleaning. '

'Very friendly staff, trying to provide the best service to their customers. A very warm welcome with a complimentary drink, explanations about the hotel, the island, trips, ... Food was tasty and fresh. The room with city view was OK, good A/C, in my opinion a little dark because some other rooms located next to ours, so if you want some privacy you need to close the curtains. I would definitely recommend this hotel because of the friendly staff and the great food!'

'Veli is an amazing resort to visit. I cannot say enough about the staff at Veli. They were all so attentive to our needs and did everything in their capabilities to keep us happy. I really appreciated the management cocktail party because it gave us a chance to meet everyone who makes Veli such a wonderful experience. Loved Rifau, Prem, Ruth, and all the others who made our experience possible. '

'Momentan ist neben dem Hotel eine Baustelle, die aber nicht sehr störend ist, ab und zu etwas laut. Aber ansonsten ein sehr netter Manager, der sich um alles kümmert, sehr freundliches Personal, sehr guter Service, tolle Aussicht. Wir würden das Hotel weiterempfehlen und auch wieder dort hin fahren. '

'Great place to stay - THE place at Gulhi. The only issue is the construction work next to the hotel (8.00-16.30 daily). Not a big issue for us. Very friendly staff and great service at the hotel (would recommend half/full board). Twice housekeeping per day is great! '

'The beach villa is nice. Close to a small beach. You can walk to any place from the room, but the facility sends you a buggy to pick you up and drop you anywhere you like. The room is clean, the staff is super friendly at all times. Balcony faces the beach but there is some green and some trees in between. Still nice private room.'
