'Beautiful gardens and pool area. Despite being next to the road it was very peaceful. Good selection at Breakfast. There is only one coffee machine which could lead to queues at peak times. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Close to bus stop 23 and for 3 euros you can get to Skiathos town and the airport. Bus can be very busy at peak times. 'Wardrobe had a light in which kept clicking all night keeping us awake. People outside the hotel used the pool and beach seats making it difficult to get a seat. We did not get to go around the pool. Food choice was very poor if you are a vegetarian. Had the poorest food ever in Skiathos around the pool bar - tasteless chicken and cod bites. 'Staff was very nice'

'Nice and newly renovated property. Not too far from town, but not walking distance. We took taxis and the water taxi a couple times. Only disappointment was our rooms that had children booked in each were not placed on the same floor. I think they could’ve made a greater effort to ensure this since we booked well in advance. Pool side service also lacked enthusiasm but the bar was near enough that this wasn’t a great inconvenience. Would stay there again.'

'Giannis was excellent - could not have been more helpful. The room itself was beautiful, partner found the bed a little too firm but I thought it was perfect. Free minibar was a nice perk. I wish the pool hours were longer but I understand from a liability perspective. The vending machine in the lobby was an excellent touch. Room was kept lovely and clean! 'We stayed at Alkyon Hotel for 3 nights before travelling on to Skopelos and I couldn’t recommend this hotel more! It was so convenient being 5 minutes drive from the airport and on the sea front. It was less than 5 minutes walk from the main strip of restaurants along the front of the port but slightly out of the main town area so was quiet at night. 'The hotel is situated on the side of a hill which offers great panoramic views across the bay. There are quite a number of steps if you are walking from the pool or bar and restaurant area so may not be suited with those with accessibility needs.
