Executive Luxury Fishermans Retreat - Hinchinbrook Channel

This Stunning executive 3 bedroom home is neat as a pin with all the modern conveniences just like home. It boasts an amazing entertainment area at the rear of house with a gorgeous outdoor kitchen. Gas is provided. We have a 2 x fridge/freezers, a chest freezer and a bait freezer also. Entirely fenced back yard which is great for the kids with dwarf fruit trees. Large shed to store your valuable cars/boats. Large covered area / washdown area alongside the whole length of the house. Fully plumbed in filleting bench/sink alongside shed.

Fully equipped kitchen with all that you would require. All new whitegoods, 3 TV's & dvd players, washer, dryer, microwave, induction cooktop and dishdrawer dishwasher. 3 bedrooms (1 king and 2 queens) and 3 super comfortable single mattresses. We also have another 2 childrens mattresses if needed (a little smaller than the average single). All are towels, sheets, tea towels are supplied so no need to bring basic items.

Complimentary, tea, coffee, toilet paper, washing powder etc is provided. Just bring your clothes food and good times.

Lovely quiet neighbourhood within walking distance to the beach. Within walking distance to Lucinda Point Hotel and only minutes from Dungeness Boat Ramp. The local store at the beachfront also boasts the best fish and chips in town.

Wonderful home to suit families or the keen angler looking for a place to stay while fishing the Herbert River, Hinchinbrook Channel and The Great Barrier Reef.

Fisherman Retreat Review

My wife & I enjoyed our time at this house. Nice & spacious with plenty of cooking utensils. The bed in the main bedroom we used was excellent. Having use of the large shed was great as we could put the boat away without having to unpack it. Overall we were very happy with the house.

Well-equipped, quality built home away from home

Excellent home with all the necessities plus more. It was a very comfortable stay, and we would definitely stay again and recommend the property to others. Excellent mattresses and quality furniture and fittings. The only real downfall was the the quality of the deeper cleaning (of the walls/doors/shower tiles/oven etc) and the pillows (which were absent of pillow protectors, smelly/heavily stained and most definitely all need replacing). The musty (body odour) smell from the pillows had infiltrated all of the bedding in each of the bedrooms, and we needed to wash and sanitise the sheets/quilts to remove the overpowering body odour smell. We purchased some of our own pillows in Ingham to use for our stay in lieu of the ones provided. The property could do with a full spring clean, but I imagine this is quite difficult to do regularly with the frequency of Winter bookings and some patrons being particularly careless with the way in which they treat the property. With a bit more elbow grease and regular, rigorous deep cleaning this property could really shine (we gave deeper cleaning a bit of a good go whilst we were there using the well-stocked cleaners provided, just to make our stay a bit more like home!) Many thanks for a great stay!
