Positief: Voorzieningen, staat van de accommodatie en faciliteiten
The location of Moxy Louisville is excellent, it’s walkable to tons of activities, great neighborhoods, and some truly outstanding restaurants. This was our second stay, and we continue to enjoy the fun lobby atmosphere, energetic bar vibes, and the welcome drinks, which are a nice touch.
However, our room this stay was underwhelming. The mirror was broken, the HVAC unit was extremely loud, and the shower leaked throughout our visit. For a boutique-style hotel with such a great common-area experience, the room quality felt disappointing.
We’ve booked both of our stays through Expedia, and it is worth noting that the hotel appears to place third-party reservations in less desirable room locations within the building. It’s something future guests may want to be aware of.
Parking can also be a bit confusing. There is a garage closer to the hotel that is cheaper, but the hotel’s “official parking partner” is across the street and up the hill and more expensive.
Overall, the location, lobby, and social atmosphere are great, but the room experience and some logistical details kept this stay from being as good as it could have been
