Bij aankomst voelde het al gelijk goed. We waren er rond kersttijd, en alles was ook in een gezellige en warme kerstsfeer aangekleed. Het leek wel een kerstfilm waar we zo binnenliepen. Verder was de kamer echt top en zag alles er schoon en sjiek uit. Als we weer naar London gaan, dan word dit zeker ons hotel. Ook het openbaar vervoer stopt er pal voor de deur, dus de auto hebben we verder niet meer gebruikt totdat we weer naar de boot gingen.

Very warm welcome by the staff. The standard double room was spacious enough and clean. The bed is nice and comfortable. Clean bathroom. Restaurant and bar staff were also very friendly and up for a chat at the bar. Only small improvement points were the loose tiles in the bathroom and the smell in the gentleman's toilets downstairs.

We kregen een kamer waarbij de gehele dag nacht het geluid van de afzuigkap van de hotelketens goed hoorbaar was. Erg vervelend zoemende geluid. Bij navraag zou dit om 22 uur stoppen. Helaas de gehele nacht aan gehad. Volgende ochtend toch om anders gelegen kamer gevraagd en dat ging men direct regelen. Top! Verder ligging is recht tegenover metrostation. Erg handig. Verder prima hotel en goed ontbijt.

The Hotel is very well located for sightseeing since it is on the Piccadilly, Central and District lines. There are pubs, restaurants, coffee shops, a Waitrose and Tesco market within a 5 minute walk. The room was quiet and clean. I appreciated the daily cleaning service, water refills and made use of the refrigerator. The bar and restaurant were nice with good food and service. The rooms are as pictured and were comfortable. This is London so expect small rooms. Be sure to check the square footage listed on the website to avoid a surprise. I stayed 9 nights in a classic double and was very comfortable.

All staff were incredible. Very polite and welcoming. Unfortunately my electrics did not work on arrival to my suite. This took around an hour to fix which was inconvenient after a long day of travel but the maintenance man was very kind which made it better. The room was great, no fault at all. Another problem was when booking it mentioned breakfast was included with my reservation. It also says this in my confirmation but was told at reception that breakfast would be charged from my deposit at checkout which was very disappointing. I decided to go for breakfast to a nearby restaurant each day instead. Other than these 2 issues the stay was nice and quiet and the hotel is in a great location right next to the underground.

Lovely hotel. Loved the history of the building. Room very nice and clean. Location is absolutely perfect for the museums and underground. however there was one issue we had, if you are booking this hotel via expedia to include a child a spare bed is NOT included in the price! We had a unpleasent shock when at check out we were advised a bed wasnt included and it would be a further £30 for one. My heart sunk and it wasnt the start of the break we were expecting and left me feeling a bit sick at the added cost on top of what we had already paid. Thankfully the issue was resolved when a second receptionist stepped in however i wanted to add this to the review for anyone looking at staying with children. Even if youre booking for 2 adults and 1 child and add the age a bed is not included! I will be also complaining to expedia about this issue. Despite the initial issue we had a lovely stay and everything else was perfect.

We had a great stay at the Bailey’s Hotel. The hotel is directly across from the Gloucester Tube station which is very convenient. There are several pubs, cafes and restaurants in the area. The staff were very accommodating. 5 Star service for sure.

The hotel staff were outstanding. They were professional and attentive. The property was clean and well kept. The location was excellent. There were options for shopping, pharmacy, and dining only a few steps away. The tube station and bus stop are right across the street. We couldn’t have asked for better. I would absolutely recommend this hotel, and I plan to stay here again on my next trip to London.

We stayed 4 nights in the Barley’s hotel. The hotel is steps away from Gloucester Road station on Piccadilly line. Our room was clean and quite though no acoustic attenuation from the corridor. Staff is friendly and helpful especially at the front counter. Breakfasts were excellent. We would stay in Bailey’s hotel again.

The Bailey’s Hotel is perfect. Now probably my favourite hotel in London. The room was the prefect size for a small family of three. The staff were exceptional and approachable and friendly. Gloucester Road tube station is conveniently just down the road with access to all over London. Kensington High Street is only 1 stop away on the tube. This is a lovely hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed our four night stay here.

Fantastic property! Rooms are very spacious which is rare for a big city, and it’s right next to an underground station that has the Piccadilly line (which gets you to basically most London tourist attractions) and the district and circle lines. Concierge was very friendly and the bar downstairs is great and has happy hour. Only complaints was the room got quite hot and the AC would not blow cool air you could only change the fan. I believe the AC was centrally controlled but we just opened the window and were ok. Also the step in to the bathtub was very high and awkward so be aware if you’re older or have any mobility issues to book an accesible room. The area has lots of restaurants within .5 mile walk that are delicious, and two different grocery stores right across the street.

We had an outstanding experience at the Bailey's Hotel and would love to return again in the future. The location is conveniently located across the street from the Gloucester Road tube station. This is on the Piccadilly, District, and Circle lines, making it very convenient to travel throughout London, but the station was not overly busy like many stations in central London. Our room was perfect for our party of 4 with 2 very comfortable double beds. The room was extremely spacious with room for us to lay out 3-4 suitcases, a desk, and 2 easy chairs. The service was extremely attentive and courteous. We took high tea one day in the dining room which was a fantastic with delicious scones, sandwiches, and cakes. Our stay at the Bailey's was pretty much perfect. I will happily stay here again on future trips to London.

Fantastic hotel in the heart of Kensington. Literally right beside Glouster Tube Station. We took a 25 min tube ride on Piccadilly Line right from Heathrow. Check in was seamless and our room was ready early upon arriving. Hotel has nice old world charm with doormen at the ready. We stayed in a double classic room. It was a tight squeeze but enough room to layout both our luggage. Only complaint was the heating/cooling system didn’t work properly and kept shutting on and off repeatedly, so we ended up turning off at night to sleep, but room got pretty stuffy. Overall, a great stay at The Baileys giving you everything you needed.
