Waar voor je geld!
Voor deze prijs mag je natuurlijk niet teveel verwachten, maar ik was zeer positief verrast! Amper een kwartiertje lopen en je staat al op de southbank naast de London Eye. Metro en busstop beide om de hoek. Personeel was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Enigszins harde bedden, maar in schone kamers die aan alle basisbehoeften voldoen. En niet onbelangrijk: voldoende ruimte bij de douches.

Erg Basic
Erg basic hostel. Niet veel comfort maar voor een stedentrip kan het prima. Het ontbijt is echter wel teleurstellend. Het ontbijt bestaat uit toast met alleen jam en cornflakes. Met eventueel oploskoffie/ thee. Iets anders is er niet, dus de keuze is zeer beperkt.

Good hostel if only needed for a place to sleep
Good service, nice people. Good hostel if you're only looking for a place to sleep and not for a long visit. Really basic, breakfast consists of bread, jam, butter, milk, cereals, thee and coffee. You can prepare breakfast in the kitchen en clean the plates and cutlery you used afterwards. Bedroom was really moisty and there was always someone sleeping, so the lights where always off. Each bed has a small light and socket. Showers are bad. Only a trinkle of water comes out and it's way too hot.

Hostel is oud en slecht voor de gezondheid.
Wij boekten dit hotel samen met de vlucht bij Expedia. Erg goedkoop! De score van het hostel was niet zo goed, maar ach... we waren er toch maar drie nachten. Maandagavond kwamen wij aan, het was een creapy hostel. Een eigenaardige man zei ons wat onze kamer was. Kamer 3... In kamer 3 sliepen naast ons, nog 12 anderen. Hoewel wij van te voren wisten dat wij in een 15persoonskamer zaten, viel kamer 3 ontzettend tegen. Geen goede ventilate, bedden dicht op elkaar en ontzettend stoffig. De wc's zagen er vies uit, de douches ook. Eén van de twee douches was kapot, dus wij moesten met zo'n dertig man één douche delen. Na een gebroken nacht viel nacht 2 en nacht 3 nog mee. Je wilde toch slapen en douchen en dat kan daar wel. Maar je komt niet uitgerust thuis. Het ontbijt is trouwens ook vies. Ik ben niet moeilijk, maar zij hebben alleen maar brood wat geroosterd moet worden in een rooster vol met bacteriën. Je kan er boter op smeren, maar dit moet dan wel uit een grote bak, waar iedereen met zijn mesje met broodkruimels in heeft gezeten. Het hostel is trouwens ook erg gehorig

Goedkope slaapplaats dichtbij centrum van Londen. Heel basic qua inrichting, netheid kan heel wat beter..

You get what you pay for, low quality
Water pressure in showers is very low. Washing long hair is a challenge. Also only choice between extreme hot water or freezing cold. After a certain hour no hot water at all. 15 bed dorm downstairs, no form of proper ventilation in the room. It was like sleeping in a sauna depending on how many people were present in the room. Even though it is a really cheap budget hostel, a certain level of quality would be preferred!

Matig hostel
Zeer matig hostel. Kamer is Spartaans, het matras bekleed met plastic, er staat alleen een aftands kastje. Uitermate gehorig. Voorzieningen waardeloos: op de verdieping voor zeer veel gasten twee douches, twee wc's en één piepklein wasbakje. Overal een beetje viezig. Ontbijt droevig. Het personeel is trouwens heel vriendelijk, en de ligging is ok.

Erg simpel hostel, wel schoon en netjes
Kleine prive kamer voor 3 personen genomen, Kamer was piepklein maar schoon. Receptie aardig en vriendelijk. Al met al oke voor een hostel en de locatie was prima. Groot nadeel was dat de verwarming keihard aanstond en niet uit kon en dat de deken op het tweepersoonsbed veels te klein is voor 2 personen. Zeker als je geen koppel bent.

Ok but could be better
the family room (3 adults was so tiny that given one chair to sit on would have hardly left room for the luggage! The bedding was off and the mattress was very comfortable for a bunk bed. The toilets sinks and shower areas were clean but afforded little or no privacy.

The hostel is perfect for a 1 night stay. You get exactly what you pay for. The service was great, the lady at the front desk was polite and helpful. Of course its not a luxury hotel, but the room and bed sheets were clean, a bit dusty but for one night it did not bother me. The bathroom and toilets were also very clean. Everything is quite old and the walls are very thin so it is quite noisy, but, again, for 1 night it did not bother me. Overall, if I ever need a cheap one night stay again in London, I would not hesitate to book.

Although the hostel had a lot of guests they cleaned the restrooms just once per day. The cleaning staff did their best but when a lot of people stay there the restrooms need to cleaned up frequently. The dormitory was clean. It was also very loud during the night but the guests were not sensibilized to be quiet in the night. The staff on the reception were not so friendly and not interested in helping and supporting. The location is very good.

방 문을 열자마자 썩은 냄새가 진동을 합니다. 침대도 2단이 아닌 3단이라 앉아 있기도 힘들고, 화장실은 남여공용으로 하나 있고, 샤워실 물이 제대로 나오지 않아 어려움이 있었습니다. 와이파이는 이용 가능했습니다.

This property, while a first glance might have you thinking dissapointingly, is a very decent and perhaps great budget location in London to stay. It's in a nice part of London, and you're not far from the nearest station. The neighborhood feels pretty safe and there are restaraunts galore nearby. I thoroughly enjoyed coming back on the tube each night and settling in. The only problem I could think of with the property were the showers. The nozzles are far too close to the wall, so you really have to press up to wash your hair or face. Definitely book here if you want a cheap stay in London.

A bit dingy with a funny smell but good rooms and a nice mix of people there. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a bit full but good that it’s included.

They were very nice and allowed me to book a private room to self isolate during me first days in London. Not the best breakfast but it is free. Good location quiet and near Big Ben and London Eye!

I've Stayed on and off for 2 weeks. Wonderful location at the boundary of NW and NE. You can go to London centre by tube or bus (I suggest upper deck of bus if you're not in hurry). Generally, it's a great hostel, no smell or small "animals/bugs". There's a low cost laundry at the end of the street if you need one. Just need to get used to the opening hours of the reception and kitchen. Cheers!

Don't stay there
The manager was friendly and welcoming but that was it. I don't mind basic, but it should be clean! Only the linen was clean,, dusty, dirty corners everywhere. Unfriendly warning notices about not keeping to your allocated bed etc (very strange). We couldn't open our window! The reception was dark and dingy - nothing like the picture and it was locked (only open 10-11 am and 6-9 pm). I won't be bringing my daughter there ever again!

Thank you for your review. We have signs on dormitory doors asking guests to keep to their allocated beds as this causes confusion for other guests who will go to the bed allocated to them only to find someone else in their bed. This then causes complaints. The room you stayed in was a private room and therefore you were able to stay in any bed in your room. There is no lock on the window in that room and after having just checked the window myself I can see no reason why you were unable to open it. We have cleaners everyday to keep the hostel as clean as possible. In regards to the hours that the reception desk is open. We have had to limit them due to the Pandemic. There is still a pandemic going on and social distancing is vital if we want to ever get out of this nightmare. We have a separate entrance for guests to use when the reception desk is closed so that guests are able to access their bedroom 24/7..

The communication by Richard was excellent, however when I got there the outside was not overly welcoming, when I entered the building it was very tired and could do with a good clean and paint, there was a smell to it too. I was very fortunate to have been offered a room by myself, but I could not stay the night, the room was tiny with a triple bunk bed in, the room and corridor stank of weed and I just felt like it had not been cleaned, there was paint peeling off the ceiling, wall and a huge crack in the wall. The loo had used tissue paper on the floor and only half a loo roll left. The shower had an empty bottle on the floor, I just could not stay here, so had to change my plans and head home after the show I was seeing, plans for the next day had to be scrubbed. Its a shame through the quite time it was not deep cleaned and repainted. I would not recomend.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the beds were comfortable and the linen was clean as well. The only thing was that it was quite far away from the tube station and is quite a long walk from the tube station to the hostel but i would stay there again.

As you have decided to remain anonymous so I cannot answer specifically your concerns. If you had voiced your concerns while you were at the hostel I am sure that they could have and would been addressed. I urge all guests to voice any concerns while at the hostel to enable us to fix the issue so that you enjoy the rest of your stay. Staying anonymous helps no one.
