I always frequent this hotel when visiting London and it was lovely as always only the fact that I had pre requested a late checkout cause my flight left at 9 pm an they had said ok then when I arrived the day before I was leaving I had received a note stating that the late check out was not possible and that i'll have to vacate at 12. After much discussion I was able to get a late checkout till 1 pm. Wasn't very convenient nor great since I am a frequent customer to this hotel.

Location was excellent and Concierge staff were beyond excellent. Could not have planned a better stay. We were 4 couples in from Canada to attend Chelsea Flower Show, theatre production and the Abba concert. Hotel Cafe Royal was superb central location for all of us. The breakfast was delicious.

The hotel's room were spacious and comfortable. They are upgrading the lighting in some rooms and offered a bit of difficulty. Hotel was quick to work it out. The food in the breakfast room was a bit slow to come out but food quality was excellent. The other staff all helpful and great.

Amazing property. Especially with our first time visiting London this was the perfect place to stay. Facilities and rooms are unbeatable and I love how there’s bars and restaurants within the hotel for the days where you’re feeling a little jet-lagged. Staff is superb and always willing to help. Only snag was that I made sure to include breakfast for 3 people in our stay as we didn’t want to deal with the hassle of going out for breakfast every morning, but they somehow did not see that I paid for it. Had to go down and show proof that I paid for this, as I’d have no reason to lie about that… but once resolved staff was very apologetic and even left chocolates in the room. Overall, one of my favorite 5-star hotels I’ve stayed in and feels very modern and renovated. Would stay here again!

Excellent service with “wil do attitude”. Great location in central London. Great value from included chauffeur service. Wonderful afternoon tea, and kitchen very good a pastries/sweets. Not so good if you’re a smoker, as smoking with the homeless in the street is the only option (unless you’re booked in one of the 5 most expensive suites that has balconies)

Great hotel with very modern features.
One of the best hotels I have stayed in London. The only glitch was that when checking in the desk failed to mention that I had received an upgraded room and when Hotels.com asked me I said no which resulted in a call from the manager who also sent me a bottle of Champagne. I loved the comfort and service of this hotel and will return.

A lovely relaxing weekend. We were made to feel very welcome by the wonderful staff who couldn't do enough for us. The location was central and we will certainly stay here again in the future.
