goede locatie
Mooi hotel ook aan de binenkant. Prima locatie met British Museum om de hoek. Enige minpunt was dat ik een kamer naast de lift had en dat maakte het nodige geluid.

Hotel is very old and furniture is in the room was close to falling apart. The bathroom could have been cleaner . Breakfast was far from what a four star hotel should serve, bread was hard and the fruits cam out of a can. Some staff members could have been more client oriented. I would not recommend this hotel.

We had a very noisy room in the basement, street site. The rooms are really big and if you want to be in the middle of London, it’s great. The have even a garden. The put us in the system that the next time we will have a room update wit garden view. Staff is super polite en helpfully..

Verrast door waterkokertje voor koffie en thee op de kamer
Prima hotel met vriendelijk behulpzaam personeel. Wij waren er in december. De temperatuur in de kamer was erg hoog. De vloer van de kamer liep enigszins scheef. Bijzondere ervaring. De kamer was keurig, met als verrassing een waterkokertje met de mogelijkheid em ingrediënten om ook koffie en thee te zetten.

Goede ligging van hotel!
Goede ligging van dit hotel is echt een pluspunt. Hotel is wel wat gedateerd, maar onze kamer op de eerste verdieping met uitzicht op de tuin was in prima staat. Ook de badkamer was netjes. Minpunt aan de kamer is het (te) kleine en te zachte bed. Daarnaast werkte onze tv niet goed en als de buren aan het zappen waren veranderde onze tv ook van kanaal...

Hotel met goede metro aansluiting in London
Het Hotel ligt in een leuke wijk met een goede verbinding tot centraal london. De kamers zijn net en het personeel aangenaam. Min punt is dat er bij de boeking niet stond dat kamers ook in de kelder gesitueerd waren. Dit resulteerde in een teleurstellend uitzicht.

Leuk hotel en zeer gunstig gelegen.
Wij zijn zeer tevreden over ons verblijf in dit hotel. Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk. Wij hebben geen gebruik gemaakt van het restaurant dus dat kunnen wij niet beoordelen. In de omgeving zijn zo veel restaurants en cafe's waar je voor een redelijke prijs kunt ontbijten. Het hotel is zeer gunstig gelegen ten opzichte van vele leuke wijken. Wij gaan zeker terug.

Mind the noise
We had a room in the souterain, directly below the restaurant. Room was fine, except that we could not get the television controls to work, and neither could the hotel staff after asling twice. Sleeping in however was no option since people started walking above our room around 6:30, and this continued until the breakfast closed.

We stayed at the grange White Hall Hotel during christmas 2010. Our room was ok, but very, very noisy. We could hear people in the hallway and the rooms nearby when they talked or walked or made any noise at all. When you plan on sleeping in or spending some more time in your room this can be a problem. We were a bit disappointed that there was no minibar in our room, but then again nobody promised there'd be one so that's okay. Because our flight home was cancelled, we had to stay in London for two more nights. This was no problem at the hotel, we could stay in our room which was very nice. The breakfast was really good with a lot of fresh food!

A nice hotel!
It was a nice hotel, reasonable price, good breakfast, clean, friendly service, good location for me. Near British Museum etc. It is easy to recommend.

Great location. Poor value for money. Fist offer of room was a pull down bed with uncomfortably thin mattress. Changed to a small double room, with a double bed, but a small double mattress. Carpet had several large stains. Room felt very tired and could do with an overhaul.

We had a comfortable stay. Nice to have a bath as well as shower. It was quiet at night and staff were friendly. There was a discrepancy between the offer of light snacks and possible meals on the key card and the reality.

Bra läge men väldigt slitet
Hotellet är väldigt slitet; nedsuttna möbler, en soffa på rummet som höll på att falla ihop, halvtrasiga möbler och en jättegammal heltäckningsmatta. Städningen var säkert ok, men pga att det var så slitet så kändes det ofräscht. Läget var dock bra, innergården fin och frukosten helt ok. Servicen var också bra.

God beliggenhed. Pænt og rent, men temmelig nedslidt hotel. Meget lille værelse. Ingen knager til jakker. Ingen steder at hænge håndklæder på det mikroskopiske badeværelse. Derfor blev håndklæder skiftet unødvendigt tit. Ofte kun lunkent og ikke koldt vand i vandhanen. Hårtørreren var skruet fast i en skrivebordsskuffe (!) Behagelig seng. Personalet var ikke overstrømmende venligt og hilste ikke, når man gik forbi.

Nice size room. Many of the lights did not work - both bedside lights on one side and the main bedroom light could not be switched independently of the bathroom. All the furniture was old and broken - one drawer unable to stay shut. Lots of patches of wall left with filler. Generally unfinished appearance. Windows in need of repair. Fine for a single overnight stay.

Good location, but poor service
We liked the location of the hotel, as we were able to walk to Covent Garden and other lively areas of London pretty easily. It was a good price as well. However, one aspect of our stay led to this poor review. A glass in the bathroom broke in my husband's hand, from only him catching it in the air as it fell. This cut his hand very badly. When we rushed downstairs, we asked the front desk employee where the nearest hospital was. Not only could she not tell us, but she did not even act with any sense of urgency or seem concerned. She answered a call while we were in urgent need of help. She finally called the emergency number, but was unable to communicate with them. I ended up having to talk to the dispatcher myself to find the necessary information to get my husband to the hospital. I couldn't believe the front desk employee didn't know where the nearest hospital was and we were just left to figure it out. This could have been avoided if the hotel stocked the restroom with higher quality glassware or plastic/paper cups. On a less serious note, another thing that bothered us during our stay was the window was loose and so would keep banging when the wind was blowing. It interrupted our sleep several times per night.

Whilst we have many new staff, some of whom are not only learning a new job but are also learning English we have Duty Managers on shift to assist and we have trained first aiders. We are sorry that the receptionist did not treat this matter with the urgency and importance that it should have been given and we will investigate this immediately. The hotel has been working to be more sustainable and so plastic glasses were discontinued but we will review this internally. Regarding the window, there is a locking device on the sash window and if this is not closed then it causes the window to rattle with the wind. We will speak to our house-keeping team to ensure the window locks are in place prior to guest check in.Please accept our sincere apologies for our shortcomings on this occassion. If you would like to discuss this further please do get in touch.

Hotel was lovely. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Allowed us to leave luggage on arrival as room was not ready and also after we checked out. Bar closed very early which was disappointing. The beds were very comfortable and the room was spotless.

Servicen var god, vi fik værelset da vi ankom kl. 10. det var dejligt. MEN.... sengen var elendig, og vi kunne kun lige være i sengen. værelserne er meget små, og havde man to kufferter med, så kunne man ikke være der. gulvet var ekstrem skævt og man væltede nærmest ud på toilettet. Vinduet kunne ikke lukkes ned, så vi måtte sætte et håndklæde i klemme så det ikke trak ind med kold luft (det hjalp meget lidt) Morgenmaden var okay, men man skulle betale 5 pund pr person pr dag ekstra, til trods for man havde betalt for morgenmad, hvis man ville have varm mad (pølser, hashbrowns, æg osv) Vi fik 3 store håndklæder og et lille, selvom vi bad om 2 små og to store.

Staff were lovely, holding our luggage on arrival until we were due for check-in some 1-2 hours after arrival. Room was service daily. Tea & coffee available which was a plus for us who drink it very regularly. No fridge which would have been helpful to store water for our outings by foot. Room was clean. There was only 1 downfall (quite literally) that was problematic for us. The room was approximately 15-30 degrees slanted / off balance so everything from the bed to the TV was on a slant. At night when we would wake & try to get up to use the bathroom as an example it was very hard to keep stable when your half asleep. We thought it might affect our sleep but it appeared not to, possibly because we were so tired from site seeing. None the less we had an enjoyable stay.

Very friendly welcoming staff. Old fashioned room, but quiet & comfortable. The room was rather warm, and the bath was difficult to climb into, to use the shower. Very good continental breakfast, and staff were happy keep our luggage after checkout, until we were ready to return home. The garden looks fantastic! Would love to return in warmer weather! Oh, and the wine list was rather limited!

Not worth the money.
Whilst the staff were pleasant and friendly, the hotel was very tired- shame as the building itself was obviously once quite lovely. We were out in a bedroom that obviously doubles up as some sort of meeting room. A superior double but we were effectively on a camp bed- one that pulls down off the wall. We had to ask for a duvet, no breakfast tea, very basic and worn. Security was awful- just a little bolt into the garden area. The air con unit was nicotine stained and noisy which meant we were very cold in the room. Not a comfortable room you’d want to spend any time in really.

Quiet environment and great in location. Walkable to the centre of London. But the hotel facilities looks a bit old and the room Wi-fi is quite slow. Overall this is still a good place to stay for traveling.

Like most central London hotels, the hotel was ok but a bit run down/in need of refurbishment. Stayed here in early Feb and there was hardly any heating on in the room. The blanket on the bed was very thin as well and more suitable for the summer. Had to sleep with my coat on.

Staff was helpful and prompt. The hotel was clean and closely situated for Underground, shopping, food, and the British Museum was just around the corner. I would stay here again.

Comfy stay!
My daughter and I stayed the night before an operation at Great Ormond st. It was well located for this within 10 minutes walk. We stayed in one of the less modern rooms but it was clean and the bed was comfortable and the room was well equipped. The shower was good with plenty of hot water. The only issue was intermittent Wi-fi and lack of sockets near the bed for charging. I'm sure a carefully placed extension lead could sort that.

I liked this property for the location. For a 4 Star Hotel though it was pretty run down. No extra blankets in the room and it was cold even with the radiator. Asked for blankets and received them although whoever answered the phone at reception seemed surprised that I would want one. Felt a bit nervous my second night after the concierge knocked on the door to say a strange odour had been noticed in the building and they were checking the rooms. At first I didn't want to answer as I hadn't requested anything but finally when the situation was explained it was okay. The location is fabulous. Right beside The British Museum, super convenient to the Russell Square Tube station from where you can go anywhere including Heathrow. Also convenient to Kings Cross Station. Easy to walk to shops on Oxford Street and anywhere in that vicinity but it just didn't seem like a 4 star hotel. I didn't eat there so I can't comment on the food.

침실바닥이 기울어져있어서 모든침대가 조금씩 기울어져있었어요. 방이 교체 안되어서 그냥 사용하긴했는데..많이 아쉬웠습니다.
