Amazing cabin
This cabin had it all! Enough size to accommodate several families and still make us feel not on top of eachother. It was completely stocked with everything we needed. Very clean and close to hiking!

Family Christmas Celebration
Our stay at River Rock lodge was wonderful! We had a family Christmas celebration weekend and it was the perfect place. It was very spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for a large group. The lodge was beautiful and charming inside. We appreciated all the amenities and Sarah was very helpful and responsive.

Fabulous lodge in a gorgeous part of Ohio!
This property is one of the best we've experienced! Lots of space for groups or families with well-equipped kitchen located in the heart of Hocking Hills. The owners were responsive and gracious. Can't say enough positive things about this special place!

Perfect cabin for a getaway!
This cabin is absolutely gorgeous and was the perfect place for our family of 12 to have some quality time together. Everything was clean and well stocked at the cabin, above and beyond any rental we’ve stayed in before. We had firewood but it was nice to be able to buy some bundles for the fireplace on the deck. We are so thankful we found this cabin and hope to visit again soon!

This property did not disappoint! It was everything we hoped it would be for our family group of 14. We loved all the individual space and all the large group gathering space. Also loved the decks and picnic tables. Communication with the property owners was great. Recommend highly! Beautiful wooded setting for relaxation.

River Rock Lodge for 40th Anniversary
We had our children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren together to celebrate our 40 years together as a family. Everyone really enjoyed being together and the excellent accomodations. I highly reccomend this property!

Family vacation
We loved this house! Was wonderful for our family of 14 ranging in ages from 12-73. Caught soem fish in the pond, used the hot tub, played cornhole and lots of pool and of course did a ton of hiking. It was so nice having a dining room table big enough for all of us! We cooked in all week and the house had just about everything we needed! Loved having 2 coffee pots!

best vacation ever.
A lot of times you see pictures of a house and when you get there it doesn't live up to the pics, but this place lived up to its gorgeous pics. everything was cleaned and well stocked and lots of places for our large extended families to branch out. There is a plak on a wall that says "Life is better at the lodge" we used that plak in a multitude of photos. each person with their own rendition of "Life is betteer at the lodge".

Everything was as described and weather allowed to enjoy the all the outside has to offer. Our grand daughter took her first steps during the trip. Had a great Easter egg hunt with all the kids. Fished, hiked, played basketball, had night time fires that included smores, a perfect week.

50th Anniversary Celebration
The home and property are beautiful. The pictures accurately showed the beautiful home. We had great weather in the mid 50's and sun which made exploring all Hocking Hills had to offer so great. The house is within 20 minutes of all the great natural sites. Our stay was perfect, we had some firewood delivered and made good use of both the indoor and outdoor fire places and enjoyed the deck overlooking the wooded property. There was plenty of space indoors if someone wanted some quiet time or join the rest of the group in the open living area. Just an awesome place to stay. Sarah provided all necessary information up front but was also quick to respond to any questions. I would not hesitate to rent again.

Awesome Family Getaway!!!
A beautiful log home situated on a "no need to leave" property with plenty of room and entertainment on site. Our grand kids were thrilled and enjoyed especially with the well stocked catch and release pond where they make some great memories while fishing. The home has a greatly stocked kitchen of accessories to easily prepare any meal of your imagination. The entire home was stocked with plenty of toiletries as well as updated linens. Our entire family of 14 are already wishing for another visit!

All-inclusive kind of stay
There was a grocery store very close, so we easily had everything we needed here. We actually hosted a micro wedding at the property and there was plenty of space to entertain ourselves the night before and gather on the porch for our own dance party/reception the day of. The beautiful kitchen and dining area made a wonderful backdrop for the dinner needing very little decoration aside from our table runner and centerpieces. Plenty of dishes, and coffee pots. Highly recommend!! Remember to pack toiletries, and bring drinking water if you don't like well water taste. Great team taking care of this property!

Perfect for large groups
This was a fantastic house for our family vacation (7 adults and 10 children (ages 0-10 years old). There is plenty to do at the house (games, hot tub, basketball, fishing) and it is close to the hiking trails and about 10-15 minutes from Walmart/Kroger. The house is beautiful with a wrap-around porch (just as pictured) and very clean.

Christmas Gift for my family
This past December I was so busy with work that I had zero time to shop. River Rock Lodge was the perfect gift for 15 members of my family. Four generations, ages 4 to 78. We had a fabulous vacation sharing time and adventure! The pond on the property was full of fish and my great-nephew caught at least “85” of them 😉. The lodge has everything you need and anything you could want. Plenty of room for everyone and so many choices to choose from. Area hiking and zip lining rounded out our adventure. Clean/accommodating/full-of-fun! We hope to return for a Fall or Winter trip to enjoy another season in the area!

Perfect for Family Reunion
Pefect spot for our family with ages 7-87, from 4 different states. Plenty of space to gather all together, play small group games, or find a private, quiet moment. We loved the large, covered deck (even in a rain storm), the fishing pond (several large fish), basketball court, fire pit, gaming basement, and large hot tub (bring beach towels). The kitchen was well-equipped for all meals (3 crockpots!) and plenty of seating. Convenient to hiking and stores. We would definitely book again!

Awesome lodge!
We used this lodge for our corporate retreat. Since this was a business function I needed to find a place large enough so everyone could have their own bed. The listing states 13 beds but it is actually 12 beds and a crib. If there could be more beds somehow this place will be great for us in future years! Maybe make another bunk room!! Besides this issue everything was clean and ready for our arrival. The lodge and its surroundings are beautiful and we all enjoyed our stay.

Tribe Retreat
Choosing River Rock Lodge to hold our First Annual Tribe Retreat was the best decision! The Lodge was amazing. The beauty of the interior, the grounds and the overall "vibe" were exactly what we were looking for. A perfect setting for all we had planned. The atmosphere is cozy, warm, inviting and serene. The outdoor covered fireplace is perfect for those snowy/rainy days to enjoy the fresh air, along with the outdoor covered jacuzzi. During our stay, we had snow, rain, sunny and warm weather all wrapped up in 4 days and enjoyed every minute of every day, staying in and going hiking. Sarah was readily available at all times and a pleasure to talk too. We will definitely be back and look forward to it!

This property is amazing. There were 22 of us, all ages. Plenty of space to spread out or stay together. The kitchen was large and literally had anything you would need to help feed a large crowd. The fireplaces really set the mood, we all had a fantastic time.

Employee Retreat
The property was beautiful, secluded and perfect for our employee family retreat. We arrived at the tail end of a snow storm, but the driveway was plowed (thank you!!!) and made it easy to get to the cabin. I stayed at River Rock Lodge with family, including kids aged 2-10. The lodge was clean and easy to access. The property managers were excellent communicators. There was much to do on-site: billiards, foosball, fire pit, fireplace on porch, basketball court, tetherball, pond/feeding fish. The cabin was well-stocked and clean. It was also very close to Hocking Hills hiking. Overall, excellent cabin for a family get-away!

Great stay in an amazing property. Will stay again if available and price doesn't go up too much. 5 stars on everything except floors, rugs. Crumbs and dust. Had to wait a little after check-in to get in as maids were scrambling to finish up. Towels were still in the running dryer. Nothing that a few of us couldn't handle in half an hour, just think owner should know if paying good money.

Amazing place
This is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Tons of room, kitchen is equipped with everything you need, super responsive host, great location. We had seven kids and they were entertained the whole time. I cannot recommend this place enough, and we hope to make this an annual trip!
