Lodges in Livingstone

'First of all, as of today (2019-11-24), the location given by Expedia and Google Maps for this property is that of a private housing complex, not that of the lodge! Thankfully, some locals were kind enough to bring me to one of the Richland Lodges (it's a small local chain of lodges). There, they told me none of the locations had received a booking from Expedia. Also, I was told that the Sinazeze location is actually half an hour drive out of Livingstone instead of downtown as indicated by...

'Generally run down and simple lodge. The room was huge but just missing simple things (hangers for the cupboard for instance) or a kettle for drink. No fridge like in pictures No hot water for the shower, wifi was poor (until we moved it to the room) Breakfast was poor'

'The staff were very friendly and helpful. Clara went the extra mile to make our stay as comfortable as possible though nothing else was pleasant about the place. There's no microwave not only in the room but the whole lodge didn't even have 1 single microwave, not even in their kitchen. We asked the owner if he could organize a microwave for us, he said he'd look into it but never did.The toaster was broken, we literally had to stand next to it and hold the button down while toasting the bread...

'While the room was clean but if you want a place infested with ants and cockroaches and no water, unhelpful staff - this is the place! We were met with an infestation of ants. And not a couple. Millions and millions of ants. The staff blatantly refused to give us a new room stating they had treated the room but the ants returned. There were several cockroaches roaming around the room. They continuously turned off the water and had to call them to turn it on to use the shower and toilet. There...

'kakkerlak in kamer geen verse handdoek tenzij ik er om vroeg warm water liet het geregeld afweten kans op muggen geen wifi tv in lounge stuk geen toiletpapier in toilet slechts 4 kanalen op tv geven hun motel een zeer hoge ranking ( 42 dollar per nacht !) oploskoffie bij ontbijt'

'This place is in very nice location. There are animals outside like zebra as well but hotel needs serious renovation. There should be telephone in every room. Hangers for clothes. Etc'

'Location. Magnificent view of the Zambezi. Excellent Service.'

'The island was amazing. We were there for our honeymoon and it was very relaxing. The staff were very friendly and helpful and really made us feel at home and special. The rooms were spotless and always prepared for us (ie. bed made, turn down Service, bug nets downat night). I would highly recommend a stay here for anyone going to Victoria falls!'
