Great option in Myrtle Beach

We loved this place! It’s conveniently located on the first floor. The screened in porch was great when the weather cooled. The kitchen was pretty well equipped.

This really is a great place, nicely furnished, and conveniently located to just about anything and everything. The reason why I didn't give a 5-star rating is because it doesn't have some simple kitchen essentials like salt, pepper, sugar, basic spices, and a starter coffee package. For me, a 5-star place is where all the little things have been thought through. While this wasn't a biggie for me, my wife commented on the stains and heavy wear on the carpet in the primary bedroom.

It’s a nice condo, roomie, and well furnished in the kitchen, dining and living room area. The mattress and two rooms were a bit tired. The floor and the main area was not swept and you could see dirt. Someone had a pet there before we arrived, that was not cleaned up. The carpet in the master bedroom looks like a garage mechanic used it to wipe his feet. Basically it was filthy dirty.

Thoughts- as a veteran of many condo rentals I was surprised that upon arrival we had no complimentary roll of paper towels, toilet paper, or even one garbage bag. There was not even the typical miniature bottle of dish soap. My biggest concern was that the checkout instructions said to load and turn on the dishwasher which we were unable to do because there was no dishwasher detergent pod. Also, this was the first rental of the hundreds I’ve stayed in over the years that did not have salt and pepper shakers. We left paper towels and toilet paper for the next guests. With all that said, everything else about the property was simply awesome. This was my first experience renting through VRBO and I was truly shocked how easy it was from booking to arrival. You’re going to laugh at this…. My renting through VRBO was actually influenced by the tv commercials featuring Nick Saban; when watching football I can’t wait for those commercials to come on; they’re hysterical. Can’t believe I’m saying this but I will continue to use VRBO just because of those way too funny commercials. Other than the very minor things I pointed out it was a great experience!
