Verlichting in kamers werkt niet goed, (schakelaars die niet goed werken) en heeft een weinig licht. Alleen in de badkamer goede verlichting. Erg vochtig in de kamers. Wij hadden 5 kamers en was overal hetzelfde. Omdat het een lang gebouw is kan het een eind lopen zij meer je lekker. Service, ontbijt en voorzieningen verder goed en op niveau van het aantal sterren.

Prima hotel met alles erop en eraan. In het dorpje is verder niets te beleven. Uitgaan moet je elders doen. Voordeel, trein stop om de hoek.

De ligging net buiten Lissabon is heel prettig. Trein op 2 minuten loopafstand brengt je voor nog geen twee euro in 20 minuten in de stad.

Prachtig hotel op top locatie. Voor een paar euro ben in 20 min in Lissabon of Cascais/Sintra. Mooi zwembad, mooi uitzicht.

Memorabele hotel net buiten Lissabon
Wat een fantastisch en geweldig hotel! We hebben vier nachten doorgebracht in dit hotel en met recht heeft het hotel 5 sterren. Aan alles is gedacht, het personeel is uitermate begripvol en behulpzaam. De kamers zijn prachtig, schoon en de badkamer zouden we zo mee willen nemen naar huis. Alles is gloednieuw en brandschoon. Het buitenzwembad wordt dagelijks schoongemaakt en de kamers goed opgemaakt. Elke dag nieuwe handdoeken en nieuwe zeepjes. Het binnenzwembad is klein maar doordat het hotel niet al te groot is, is het rustig. Erbij zit een Turks stoombad en een sauna waarin hooguit vier of vijf personen in kunnen maar dat is meer dan genoeg. Het ontbijt is zeer uitgebreid met een menukaart waar de pancakes en de sauted mushrooms aan te raden zijn. Broodbeleg, yoghurt, cornflakes, fruit, fruitsapjes, bacon en scrambled eggs en een schaal broodjes die naar je tafel wordt gebracht. Alles smaakt heerlijk en is vers. De locatie is pal naast een drukke straat maar op de kamer hoor je daar helemaal niks van. We hebben heerlijk rustig kunnen slapen in een mooi bed. De kamers hebben airco met afstandsbediening die snel werkt en de kamer goed koel houdt. De locatie zelf is mooi, tropische tuin aan de voorkant van het hotel, de straat oversteken en een honderd meter naar het westen en je zit op een klein zandstrandje. Het centrum van Paco dos Arcos is op 5 minuten lopen en in de straat waar het hotel aan zit, zitten een 4/5 tapas, Italiaans en Portugese restaurantjes. Het treinstation zit op tien minuten lopen en Lissabon is twintig minuten met de trein. Een retourtje voor twee personen naar Lissabon is ongeveer 8,50. Cascais is ongeveer hetzelfde en zeker aan te raden om naar toe te gaan. Een heerlijk praktisch hotel waar je tot rust kan komen en heerlijk kan verblijven. De prijs-kwaliteit verhouding is enorm goed voor dit hotel, zeker een aanrader!

Vriendelijk personeel met een prima service. Perfecte locatie met op 200 meter een treinstation, je bent in 20 minuten met de trein in het centrum van Lissabon. Enige minpuntje is het handdoek leggen bij het hotel, niet passend bij een 5 sterren hotel. Of meer ligbedden of het personeel moet hier actie op ondernemen. Dit is een grote ergenis.

Pareltje!
Heel mooi opgezet en luxe complex. Prachtige tuin met zwembad en heerlijke ligbedjes. Ideaal geleden als je met de trein komt: het station is echt om de hoek, maar je ervaart hier geen hinder van. Lissabon ligt op 15-20 minuten met de trein. Ontbijt en roomservice waren ook top! Zeker een plek om terug te komen! Vooral geschikt voor stellen en voor de zakelijke reiziger.

Wat een heerlijk relax hotel!
We zijn hier een week geweest en dit is een heerlijk verblijf gebleken. Vanaf onze ontvangst tot en met ons vertrek is het een top ervaring geweest. Super vriendelijk en service gericht personeel, mooie ruime kamers incl. een ruime badkamer. Elke dag schone handdoeken! Mooi uitzicht vanuit elke kamer op de tuin met zwembad. Zwembad is ook erg mooi en ideaal om bij te komen van je bezoek aan Lissabon, Cascais, Estoril of Sintra. Op minder dan 5 min. lopen is een treinstation, welke je sowieso in je kamer niet hoort, hoogstens een beetje als je aan het zwembad ligt maar dit is absoluut niet storend. De trein is goedkoop, maar ook de taxi is goedkoop, dus je bent overal zo voor een prikkie. Het stadje Paço de Arcos stelt niet zoveel voor, je kan er wel lekkere restaurantjes vinden en anders kan je ook in het hotel heerlijk eten. Het ontbijt is trouwens heerlijk bij het hotel! Ik kan dit hotel echt aan iedereen aanraden die er ff tussenuit wil en tot rust wil komen.

Positives : check in was smooth, the indoor pool was very nice and well Maintained. Room was clean . Superbe séjour à Villa Galé
Magnifique hôtel ! Très bien placé, à 20mn en train de Lisbonne( la gare est à 2 minutes a pied et le train longe la côte !) Chambres très spacieuses et confortables,d ´une propre irréprochable !!! This is a wonderful hotel with helpful, polite and attentive staff, always available to support you. The hotel is within a local residential neighbourhood but feels quiet, private and has an attractive garden with a clean and pleasant poolside area. There is also an indoor pool and spa with a very simple gym. The room was spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed. Top quality breakfast with good service and lots of choice. There are local restaurants nearby outside the hotel that we found (in July 2023) to be of extremely good value and high quality. We would suggest Tasquinha Da Vila for a great meal. Nearest train station is a 5 min walk where you can catch a suburban train into central Lisbon with a journey time of 20 mins. We found buying the viva viagem card useful for frequent trips in and out of the city.

Favourite hotel.
Great hotel set in its own attractive garden. Convenient location for travel and restaurants. Staff always excellent. Arranged transfer from Lisbon airport for us, 4 adults and a toddler needing a child seat, which was very helpful. In fact, hotel and staff are very welcoming of children. Stayed 5 times now and never disappointed. Going to book our 6th stay later this year.

I have just returned from an amazing stay at this Hotel. The staff were all very friendly and very helpful. The Hotel is in an area that doesnt have very much around it so you need to travel to other areas for eating out. But this Hotel is in the ideal location for traveling into Lisbon and other tourist locations. It is also perfect for spending a day by the pool. I only had dinner once in the hotel restaurant and it was wonderful the food was amazing.
