AREA DESCRIPTION
Sintra and the coast Atlantic area are deservedly one of Portugal’s greatest traveler magnets. The region also has a booming gastronomical and wine tasting culture, with dozens of restaurants and cafes tucked away.

You will find pristine and breathtaking beaches and fresh seawater pools in the vicinity of our villa, such as Praia das Macas, Azenhas do Mar, and Praia Grande, the internationally famous Portuguese capital for water sports (only 7 minutes away) and Cabo da Roca, the most western point in Europe (20 minutes away). Ericeira, a world-class surf zone and the only World Surfing Reserve in Europe, is 25 minutes away. . For the above reasons, our region is probably the finest stretch of surfing destination in Europe.

Cascais and Estoril are only 20 minutes away. Estoril is a major tourist destination with the grand Estoril Casino, the largest casino in Europe. The writer Ian Fleming was inspired to create his legendary hero, James Bond, based upon the intrigue and events that played out in the historic casino.

Portugal’s capital Lisbon is one of the world's most scenic cities and is only 35 kms away from the villa. This superb city has been named the fourth most beautiful city in the world by travel website Urban City Guides, which places it in the top 10 of the most alluring cities on the planet. Prachtig rustig gelegen met heerlijke vieuw
Tips; liggingen ruimte, zwembad, vieuw, aardige behulpzame eigenaar maar geen personeel voor onderhoud Nadelen; Matige (harde en krakende) bedden, Matig onderhouden (wc trok niet goed door), soms riool lucht bij het terras, geen licht in de douche, houtwerk her en der aan een verf toe. We zaten er 2 weken en moesten betalen voor schoonmaak en wisseling van linnengoed in between weeks. Het huis ligt aan de noord kant van de berg Sintra waardoor in de ochtend vaak mist

almost perfect
well i would like to have given 5 stars as so much of this villa is beautiful the outside area living areas and kitchen 5 star. However we had some issues with the bedrooms . Two of the bedrooms were fine despite small bathroom in one.The other two bedrooms were very small for two adults virtually no hanging space for clothes. This was not helped by one of the closets unavailable because owners clothes in it. The fourth bedroom had no real hanging space. The host and hostess were extremely attentive and lots of very nice touches expresso machines in all rooms welcome pack etc. Seems a shame such a great property would have such small bedrooms and bathrooms

Really enjoyed our stay, the villa was beautiful with large well equipped rooms and a fantastic pool. Great location close to the historic town of Sintra and only a ten minute drive from great surfing beaches. The owners were very kind and helpful, highly recommended.

Beautiful property, gorgeous town, lovely hosts
We had an amazing stay in Sintra. The house is even more expansive than the pictures. All the bedrooms are large suites, 3 with balcony views and one with private garden access. The hosts have also included little special touches including wonderful (locally made) body lotions and Nespresso coffee machines in each bedroom. The pool is large enough for water games and laps if you wanted and the views from every angle are gorgeous. The surrounding beach towns are magical with fantastic restaurants just 10 minutes from the property. It's hard to imagine how it could have been better. Loved all of it.

Great Location with High comfort and lots of space
The owners guide to the area was maybe the most detailed we have utilized as active villa travelers. We found the location convenient for travels to Lisbon, Sintra, beaches and medieval towns. We also liked just watching the sun set over the ocean while sipping wine and hanging out be the pool. The chef we hired a couple of nights to prepare dinner and host a cooking class prepared excellent food and both events were great fun for the six adults who were traveling together.

Beautiful but not for anyone with mobility issues
Beautiful villa with absolutely stunning grounds outside!!! Our family has an older adult with some mobility issues and after talking with the owner about accessibility, I decided to chose this villa. Unfortunately, this villa is not for anyone with mobility issues. The bedrooms are upstairs and the kitchen, living, and dining rooms are downstairs. There are 2 flights of stairs between the floors and multiple random steps throughout the lower floor. My family member actually tripped on one of the random steps and severely broke her shoulder in multiple spots 10 hours before we were flying back to the US. The owner and property manager made themselves available and were responsive if I had an issue or needed anything. Here are a few little things that were slightly aggravating: 1)the washer was tiny and the dryer took several hours to dry a load of laundry 2) a couple of the showers had no where to put soap or shampoo bottles on, so they just sat on the shower floor (I recognize that is very picky) 3) we were given only 1 set of keys for the house and gate among 6 adults (this became a real issue a couple of times because the property is gated and the house door automatically locks EVERY time it closes, so no one was getting in if you didn't have the keys on you). Overall, a great villa out in the countryside that was safe and very spacious.

Modern Country Delight
Everything was just lovely. The only difficulty was without a car the property is rural, down a gravel road but with a car it would be no problem to get to groceries, restaurants, etc. It was a beautiful property with extremely efficient and accommodating hosts! A great place for 4 couples or a large family! It's about a 20 minute Uber ride to historic Sintra!

We had a very comfortable stay at this gorgeous house. It’s tucked away in a quite and safe neighbourhood. The hosts were very responsive and very accommodating, allowed us to host an event for a tonne of friends and family that were visiting in Portugal for a family reunion. We absolutely loved staying at this beautiful villa, it’s huge with every amenity you could possibly need (even better in real life than in the photos). The hosts respond quickly to messages and are always super helpful, friendly, and made us feel very welcome. The area feels a little remote, but once we got our bearings nothing is actually too far away (Sintra old town approx 12-15 min drive away). Beautiful villa in great location
A nice and spacious villa in an amazing location with a wonderful view to the ocean, about 5km north of Sintra and about 6-10 mins by car from the nearest beaches. We learned surfing at Sintra Surf School, which was an easy trip each morning and then relaxed around the pool in the afternoon. The villa is perfect for one or two families who enjoy open space outside the ensuite bedrooms. We spend most time in the pool area and our boys enjoyed the new fitness room. As we really love to cook ourselves, we would have loved to see a better equipped kitchen, but it has all the essentials. The bedrooms all have a Nespresso machine, which is quite nice. The host was easily reachable and very helpful. We really enjoyed the huge guide book which they have put together. Sintra and Lisbon are both within easy reach. Janas has an amazing little convenience store and we very much enjoyed our meals ar Bar do Fundo on Praia Grande. Would definitely recommend a stay at the villa!

Nice house but tired beds and furniture
Great location, ample size villa with plenty of space for 8 guests. beautiful pool and view. Beds and pillows are very tired and are in desperate need of updating. As well as the interior living room furniture. Door directly infront of kitchen leading to patio and pool had a broken lock that we were unable to open. There is another door to access patio and pool but was not convienent to go through. This was dissappointing. Not enough kitchen dish clothes provided for a week stay. As well as only 1 bath towel provided per guest. Listing indicates that there are blue tooth speakers provided but they are old and do not work. Take note that the listing also says it is self catering. Not quite sure what this means however, we felt that a few little extras, like more kitchen towels and bath towels, basic salt, pepper and olive oil, could have gone a long the way - self catering or not. Finally, when you book the address location listed, it is not correct. A message with the proper address was only sent once we were sitting outside the incorrect villa address. The owner was however, very responsive to all our WhatsApp messages and provided additional kitchen clothes and bath towels. when requested during the stay. We do recommend a stay here, just be sure to inquire about the mattresses before hand making sure they have been updated.

Schöne Villa
Ideal für die Erkundung dieser interessanten Ecke von Portugal. Das Haus ist sehr gross, der Pool super, wir können das Haus empfehlen. Die Bilder entsprechen nicht der Realität, hier wurde mit Photoshop ein wenig nachgeholfen, trotzdem, sehr empfehlenswert.

Ruhig gelegen, großartiger Weitblick über ein wunderschönes Tal auf den Atlantik. Phantastischer neuer Infinity-Pool mit integriertem Whirl-Pool. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Wir kommen wieder.

Something for everyone
Pool, ping pong, trampoline, amazing view, giant house. This place has something for everyone! Host are fabulous. We really enjoyed a relaxing stay and exploring the amazing town of Sintra!

Excellent communication with owner and good directions and advice on restaurants etc. all modern conveniences and beautiful peaceful views over sheep pastures to the ocean

Family Trip
The property was great with lots of amenities and very comfortable for all ages, especially when traveling internationally. Chloe was great to work with pre-arrival. If we were to return to there we would definitely stay there again!!

Great stay and house.
The house had 4 bedrooms each with a bathroom so everyone had plenty of room. The pool was great and we used it every day. We met the owner when we arrived and had great communication with Chloe when needed. The small town close buy had a coop and market. Very nice stay.
