'This was a unique place to stay for a night after flying into Portland. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. You can hear the music from downstairs but they don’t play too late. There was a band playing in the saloon during our stay so they had a cover charge to get into the saloon that was not included in your hotel stay. Luckily they had an outdoor area that is feee to sit at and eat.'

'The pictures do not match the actual rundown quality and lack of housekeeping skills that the hotel actually is.. I took pictures of the gross windows, the hair on the bathroom floor, the flat pillows. The floor above us creaked, so we could hear every movement from above and every conversation penetrated right through the walls and floor. On top of that, the breakfast was minimal with prepackaged stuff that you would buy out of a vending machine and a few cooked items that were gross.'

'my room is supposed non smoking but previous guest smoked there. I requested to change room but he simply refused and no explanation. the service is terrible, I will never stay there again'

'Staff is really great. The room was clean and spacious. Location is great with downtown Portland only a 5 minute bus ride away. If you’re on a budget and don’t need the frills of a more expensive hotel then I would definitely recommend this hotel. The area is safe and the light rail is within walking distance. Perfect to check out and head right to airport.'

'Goed hotel om downtown Portland te bezoeken. Het ontbijt is eenvoudig qua keuzes enmet plastic bestek en papieren bordjes.'

'Tiny room, terrible breakfast for $29, $4 for each bottled water. The sofa bed was not made when we checked in. There was one blanket and pillow for it, we called the front desk that night, and no one came to deliver any other blanket or pillow. Overall not a good experience and will not be staying there again.'

'Unsafe neighborhood'

'I booked the wrong dates, June instead of July. I became aware a day later. Expedia asked me to call them to reschedule. The hotel was very rigid, and absolutely offered me no help to accommodate me in any way. I wasted $600 for this mistake. I accept that this is partially my fault, but all other hotels have provided some firm of relief in the past. I am disappointed.'
