'I loved my 1 night stay at the Amboseli Sopa Lodge, and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Amboseli National Park. The lodge itself is located just outside of the NP, but they conveniently have a buffet-style restaurant inside the park. We were pleasantly surprised that all of meals, including our lunch in the restaurant inside the park, were included in our nightly fee. The facilities are fabulous, the food is excellent, and the staff is wonderful. '

'You don’t come here for a 5 star hotel experience- you will stay in a manyatta - a small free-standing hut in the midst of a garden. some beetles will share tge room with you, don’t worry, it’s nature. a simple bed, one old but clean towel, a bed with sheet, ask for a second towel, make sure that there are moskito nets. the five star experience was opening the door in the morning and looking at mt kilimancharo in the morning sun. they serve a simple breakfast and dinner for some extra shilling,...
