  • "Amadryades villas" is a complex of three independent stone-made villas. Villa Imera is the third villa of the complex and is ideal for romantic or family vacation.
    Designed and built with a lot of taste, you will be impressed by the villa’s architecture and traditional style. Stone and lumber are two elements that coexist and create an excellent aesthetic result. Their amphitheatrical location and their excellent positioning ensure a view you will never forget.

    The villa can host up to 5 people. It has a comfortable living room with an open space fully equipped kitchen. The living room leads to the amazing private pool that offers a splendid sea view to the Ionian Sea. The guests can enjoy relaxing peaceful moments by the pool with their loved ones and appreciate the breathtaking sunsets the Ionian Sea has to offer.

    Day or night, the pool is the gathering spot for everyone giving away fun time unforgettable moments.

    A spacious bedroom with a king size bed will ensure a comfortable relaxing sleep and the jacuzzi hydromassage bathtub will add a little extra luxury to your stay. 3 extra people can sleep in one king-size double sofa bed and in one single sofa bed in the living room.

    There is also a garden and a playground in the complexs' common space. As well as a secure parking area!

    Kindly be advised that the owner of the villa has done all necessary proactive disinfestation, always in line to the environmental laws for the protection of the natural life. However the property is located within the beautiful natural surroundings and contact with insects or small animals (eg stray cats, mice, reptiles, flies, mosquitos, ants etc) cannot always be prevented.

    The villa is located in the verdant and quiet environment of the traditional Greek village of Hortata on the west coast of Lefkas. Being on the west coast offers you the opportunity to visit all the famous and amazing beaches of Lefkada island, such as porto Katsiki, Egremni, Gialos, Kathisma (7 km away), Milos beach etc.

Veramente perfetto !

L’alloggio è ancora più bello dal vivo, la piscina privata fantastica con una bella vista sul mare, è curata e ce la siamo goduta tutti i giorni. Siamo stati molto bene e speriamo di poter tornare presto; forse l’alloggio più bello in cui siamo mai stati. La comunicazione con Mr Kostas è stata perfetta, lui è veramente una persona gentile e disponibile. Grazie ancora di tutto.

Beautiful view and friendly staff but not worth it based on our experience

The host was very kind and the view and the landscaping of the villa was beautiful, but the inside needs work. There were 2 major things that were disappointing during our stay that made it not feel worth the price for us. On arrival, our entire villa smelled like it was just sprayed with bug/insect killing spray prior to our arrival. It was very toxic smelling and we knew that wasn’t safe to breathe in, so we tried to go out to eat and relax outside by the pool with all the windows open to allow airflow ( couldn’t leave any doors open or the cats onsite would have gotten in). This smell took 2-3 days out of 5 of our stay to finally go away forcing us to sleep in the heat vs air conditioning that we had planned to utilize. The second thing- the furniture was very old and had no cushion whatsoever, the bed felt like you were sleeping on plywood. My husband and I had neck and back pain each night from sleeping in the bed, at one point I got up in the middle of the night and tried the couch but it was the same, you could feel the springs in the couch. By the end of our stay I was developing bruising on my hips from where I slept on my side.

Many things could be Improved

Many things in the villa are in need of improvement. For example the equipment of kitchen and bathroom. Too few dishes ans glasses and a too small and slow coffee machine. There is little storage space in the bathroom. The hair dryer is defective and therefore life-threatening. The TV reception was initially very bad and the W-Lan very unstable. The lighting throughout the house is not thought out and does not create an atmosphere. The roofing of the terrace in front of the pool is quite dilapidated and getting old. It creates the feeling that only money wants to be earned without doing anything for it. Accordingly, the communication with the owner has been.

Es war sehr schön

Alles war prima. Aussicht war sehr schön, der Pool ein Traum. Kommunikation mit Kosta und Anna lief auch gut. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

The view is amazing! The villa is equipped with everything you need, you have a village on 5min by car where you can eat the best gyros and you have some small markets. The villa is cleaned by all standards. The pool is clean and all for you. We enjoyed it and will be back again for sure!

Home away from Home

Incredible view of bay and viewing sunset from the pool area and the terrace was breathtaking. The owner Kosta and Nina were wonderful hosts. They were friendly, accommodating and made us feel like family. The Villa Imera was wonderful with everything what you need to feel like home. The villas are secluded, perfect for rest and enjoy the view, however very close to most beautiful beaches on the western part of Lefkada. Highly recommend staying at villa Imera !
