First impressions were not good. I was in a rush to drop my bag and get back out.
However check-in was unbelievably inefficient with three people in front of me it took about 20 minutes before I was served. The reception running check in spent an age running through all the amenities, parking procedures, and requesting a form to be filled in, The simple solution would be to open another desk and during this time I saw one manager walk past the queue about 3 or 4 times and not take the initiative to help. Eventually I asked if another person returning to reception could check me in and she did so, professionally.
Again- I had to fill in a form with all the same details as I provided when booking the hotel. Ridiculous.
As I was only there to crash while on a night out in Leeds I canโt comment on the facilities, but overall it seemed decent value for money.
The bathroom needed a bit of bleach to clean up a bit of black mould and the mattress / bedding was all pretty low quality- but you get what you pay for.
