'Location is perfect. Close to the harbour and also close to the town’s Main Street. Owner and staff very friendly and hopeful. A real family business… even met owners father who was in to do some maintenance on the property. Had a great converse with him a got some great recommendations on places to see and dine in the area.'

'The reason we love this property is the setting in a historic building in an historic neighbourhood. Lots of charm and character. Outdoor seating in the waterfront rooms makes for an enjoyable stay. A quick walk to the City Cruises. Was happy to see they had refreshed the waterfront rooms. I would like to see them continue replacing the old muskoka chairs and tables as some are in need of repair. We will be back.'

'The staff here are wonderful and always helpful. The property itself is older, so while they are working on updating and maintaining, a lot of it is dated or needing minor repair. For example, there used to be a swimming pool but the previous owner filled it with dirt. The room we were in has a great view of the river and a patio that opens right in front of the dock, which was lovely. However, the room itself was dated and needed a deep clean and the plumbing was obviously old. The beds were...
