Absolutely beautiful tree house cabin only 30 min from Leavenworth! If youâre staying in the winter months & there is snow/ice it is seriously imperative that you have tire chains/cables! We barely made it back up that steep mountain to the cabin in our AWD suv with winter tires! Without the tire chains we wouldnât have made it. Please donât take that suggestion from them lightly as I almost did & get stuck, towed or much worse. Small living room tv with only 22 channels. Everything else was a dream!
Great hideaway, we really enjoyed seeing the Turkeys! Loved the multi-level floors for more privacy, and location was great getting to Wenatchee and Leavenworth.
This place was great. we wanted a place that had a full kitchen to cook for Christmas. It was well stocked and had everything needed for cooking. They had a few things like salt/pepper. we got snowed in from storm and it was a cozy place to spend time with each other. the view was gorgeous of snow covered tree tops. I didn't realize this until later (my fault)- the property allows animals. I couldn't figure out why I was sneezing all day. So if your sensitive to animal hair, might bring Benadryl. It is a lot of stairs both to get to and inside, so anyone with disabilities might want to consider that (which they tell you in description). We did get an email communication the day before check in stating we would need snow chains or 4 wheel drive. Not being from area that was not something I had considered before arriving. Thankfully, we had all wheel drive (which was definitely needed in snow) so not a big deal. I would totally come back during the fall, I bet that view is amazing with the leaves changing. About 25 minutes to Leavenworth- but the drive is scenic and away from crowds which is nice.
Well-built and unique vertical townhome in the woods
Other reviews complained about the stairs, but there really are not many. I think it was 4 flights of 8 stairs, so about 32 - based on reading the reviews you would think there were hundreds! The house is odd but well-built and has a laundry unit, nice appliances, and is comfortable. Lake views over the treetops. Would book again.
Beautiful home high up in the treetops! This home had everything we needed for a perfect long weekend. We were close to Leavenworth town and the great food there, as well as hiking by beautiful Lake Wenatchee.
Had a good stay at this cabin with friends and hiking the area. Lots of stairs so not good for everyone. But good location and enjoyed seeing the wild turkeys every day.
This was a great property away for everything. It is in the trees so you feel like you are in a treehouse. The interior is a little dated, but it is clean and comfortable. There is no Wi-Fi, but we were able to use our hotspot so cell services is good. The kitchen is small and overall well appointed, but the knife selection is limited.
Brought some guys here for a bachelor party weekend. When we arrived there was a small hiccup with our access code that was quickly resolved over the phone. We were our on adventures and didnât spend much time at the property but visited during a record heat wave and the portable AC unit in the main living area was much appreciated. Highly recommend.
We enjoyed our stay so much! Such a neat cabin to stay in (be sure you're able to navigate stairs!) It is situated at the end of a dead end road with other cabins near by, but it is so heavily wooded, you almost can't see or realize they are there. There is forest to explore, but no flat areas, if that's important to you. The rooms were all lovely but the queen bed was hard. We put a thick comforter on top of the mattress which helped. Lovely views, wild turkeys, deer and birds everywhere. We would absolutely recommend stay here!
We loved this house and wished we could've stayed longer. The design is so unique and cozy, and the views of the surrounding trees, mountains, and a bit of Lake Wenatchee were stunning. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the balcony with our morning coffee and watching the wild turkeys and jays. The house is about 30 min from downtown Leavenworth and close to various hiking/skiing/snowshoeing spots. Looking forward to coming back!
Our small group had a wonderful time spending a couple days in this lovely mountain cabin! The treehouse-like nature of the cabin meant you had great views of the lake and it had a nice isolated, cozy feeling. I loved the retro vibes of the interior too! The kitchen was stocked for everything we needed to cook group meals (it's a bit small but manageable for someone used to small apartment kitchens like mine!) It's a short drive down to the lake where you can park and enjoy an easy hike along the lake edge.
There definitely were A LOT of stairs both inside and out so I could see an issue for young children (and our 25lb dog was a bit frightened of the open stair style lol) but the multiple bedrooms and bathrooms made it ideal for a group of adults.
I would absolutely love to stay at this cabin again. Thanks!
