Sunsets by the Bay - Your Waterfront Oasis

Take a break and enjoy breathtaking sunsets at the original Sunsets by the Bay cottage that began the Sunsets by the Bay Vacation Rentals group.

This cottage is conveniently located along the shores of Lake Erie with an "upper" and "lower" lake level beach, meaning you always have a sandy beach overlooking the lake. This cottage is perfect for couples, friends or families looking to relax by the lake.

Sunsets by the Bay will captivate you with its true cottage feel with wooden walls. From the refinished original wood floors, to the original wood walls, you will feel the true cottage comfort.

We booked Sunsets by the Bay for a weekend girls getaway. What a fabulous cottage, right by the water!Our host Gabriella provided everything we could ask for and the welcome binder/ digital binder were really helpful and informative. With 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and a large living area, we never felt on top of each other. The outside seating area and fire pit , bbq would have been welcomed had it not been so cold ! Our host checked in with us a few times as well. I would highly recommend Sunsets by the Bay for your next stay in the region of Leamington/Kingsville.

The three of us enjoyed 2 wonderful days at Waterfront Oasis. We were out exploring most of the time but when in the cottage we enjoyed watching the birds through the large windows, sitting by the lake and by the fire in the fire pit at night and talking around the big table. Very cozy.

Enjoying the fall migration at Point Pelee

This was a perfect location for our group of six seniors who came to Pelee for the fall migration. The home was lovely with plenty of room to spread out and had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. It was very clean, kitchen was well equipped, outdoor seating was ample and right at the edge of the lake. We enjoyed campfires on 2 of the evenings we were there. Would recommend staying there and will book again if we are in the area. Communication with the owner was excellent! The only thing I would recommend is to put up towel rods in the bathrooms or on the back of the doors in the bedrooms. There was no place to hang our towels!

Wonderful stay

This property is beautiful and was impeccably clean. Very convenient to Leamington and the neighborhood to s very quiet. The back yard is gorgeous and sits right on Lake Erie. The beds were very comfortable and the showers are some of the best I’ve been in. Gabriella was very responsive and kind.

We had a great stay here and the bon fire pit out back was awesome. Lots of activities in the area for all ages. We had family staying at another cottage down the road and they preferred to come here because of the cozy feel!

Great place for a family! This stay was sandwiched between 2 hotel stops. The view of the lake and the sunset were awesome! Great place to relax!!

Feels like coming home 💗

Everything we could possibly need was available for us. Well equipped kitchen, comfy beds and furniture. Wi fi, satellite tv, bbq.Really, all the comforts of home. The house was spotless, and the view was spectacular. We were just a stones throw away from some really nice restaurants, as well as pointe pelee national park, which we were provided with a pass from the home owner to enter the park for free. We were welcomed by the neighbors on both sides and they made us feel like part of the neighborhood. Best of all, Gabriella, the home owner was very prompt to answer our messages, and went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. She was truly delightful to work with. My husband and I wish her much success.....which I'm sure she will have. This young lady is going places!

Immaculate Waterfront Home on Western Lake Erie

This place was incredible! By far the nicest place we've stayed in 20 years of renting vacation properties in this area. A Km. from the entrance to Point Pelee National Park, this waterfront home has it all! Spacious knotty pine wainscotted living room, with beamed ceiling. Large TV with unlimited cable channels and internet; not something that's always available in this area, even with larger places. Adjoining the living room is a sitting room at the back of the house with large windows, and a gorgeous view of western Lake Erie. A modern kitchen with adjoining laundry room has all you'll ever need for comfortable, luxurious and relaxing vacations. Spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds, and two well-appointed bathrooms, one ensuite. A separate room with computer desk, and a cot for that extra guest. A spacious lakefront backyard, with a deck and fire pit right at the lake, surrounded by comfy Muskoka chairs; perfect for an evening glass of wine, while you watch the incredible sunsets. Plenty of parking room out front, if friends drop over for an evening by the fire. Very friendly owner who responds instantly to every question or request. We'll be back! Already booked for next year.

Cute cottage on the water with all the luxuries of home!

This cottage is in an ideal location! Close to Point Pelee and Leamington. The owner is a great host! She is very accommodating and really ensures that you have everything you need for your stay! I would highly recommend this cottage!!
