'We just had a delightful family reunion in Lava Hot Springs. The yurts were so much fun. This is glamping at its finest! Our family of 27 people rented all five yurts from Wed-Sat. Everyone got a kick out of the themed-decor. We shared meals, so we spent time in each one. 'OK, so the overall stay was good, but it’s more like a frat house. It’s not for couples. The beds were uncomfortable. The kitchenette was not really a kitchenette. It was a plug-in burner. That was way outdated with one pan that was really beat up. Not very many dishes towels were stained. they advertised AC, but there was no air conditioning unit. 'My wife and two young kids stayed here for a night on a 10 day road trip. It was the nicest place we stayed on the whole trip. All modern and updated finishes. The beds were very comfortable. It has a great shower and all modern appliances. The host was very helpful. I highly recommend. '
