'They tell you that you have all these amenities or complimentary stuff but they leave out the important details. I had a gift certificate only to find out that you can only use at restaurants within the hotel and not when you check out to cover the room charges. The complimentary drinks, it does not state that you can only claim it at a specific restaurant. The complimentary massage, they would not even accommodate us for the whole time we were there. 'The room was stinky. Faucets are rusted. The sink drainage flows direct to the ground & wont drain properly. Water at the shower is leaking. We've killed small cockroaches. Dirty flooring. The rice cooker was so filthy. Overall it was disgusting! The pictures online were deceiving. '

'We had a very unpleasant experience staying at WJV Inn Marigondon and would not recommend this property to other travelers.
The biggest issue was the cleanliness. The room was visibly dirty when we arrived. The bed did not appear properly cleaned, the bathroom looked unhygienic, and there was a strong unpleasant odor in the room that did not go away. The walls were stained, and the overall condition of the space made it feel poorly maintained and neglected.
What was especially disappointing...

'I recommend next time better communication on the location of the property and with the location of where the reservation is sent. The reason for this is we spent an hour and a half once we arrived at the property with the property owner trying to check in having issues verifying the reservation! Then we had a second issue trying to get a parking spot! Last I would recommend the property owner to make sure they clean and thoroughly check over the unit before renting it out, as some of the items...

'I had a wonderful stay at Fairfield by Marriott Cebu Mactan. What I loved most was its excellent location—it's just a few minutes from Mactan-Cebu International Airport, making it incredibly convenient, especially for early flights or late arrivals.
The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. I also really loved the toilet and bath—they were modern, well-maintained, and had plenty of space. Overall, the hotel provided a relaxing and comfortable stay.'

Should turn on the water heater when confirmed check in and before guests gets in the room. Could use softer towels as it looks like the towels were hung dry instead of machine dry. The bathroom could use an exhaust system.
The restaurant staff were awesome but meat could be more tender and less salty.
Convenient store is a plus.'
