New 2 bedroom home with spectacular lakefront views. Located on a private drive with only a few houses in quite neighborhood. Beautiful sunsets, swimming, fishing and relaxation. Close to the colleges. 10 miles to Cornell and Ithaca College.

The house was built in 2008 and has a gourmet kitchen with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and a spectacular view of the lake. There are hard wood and masonry floors throughout.

This is a lovely, well-maintained cottage in a quiet area on the shore of Cayuga Lake just north of Myers Point. My wife and I have enjoyed brief retreats here (from 3 to 6 days) many of the past 5 or 6 years. Always a great time!

Lovely stay!

Stayed at “Simply Irresistible” for just over a week. It was so relaxing, great views, and easy location to access hiking trails, restaurants and grocery in Ithaca and even cute spots in Lansing (definitely recommend the ice cream at Scoops). House amenities were wonderful — loved how well appointed the kitchen was with great appliances and plenty of pots and pans so that we could make meals at “home.” And despite all the rain during our time here, we were able to use the fire pit one evening. Our family of three (adult son with husband and myself) would definitely come back for another stay. Thanks Jennifer!

Weekend getaway

The lake shore home is very comfortable with spectacular views of the lake. We enjoyed the firepit outside and bird watching the many species of water fowl. The house is equipped with several extras which made it stress free. We had a wonderful Easter weekend getaway, We visited the difference falls, college and Ithaca.

The home was clean and had many thoughtful touches. The kitchen is well stocked, which made things easier during our stay. The view from the window waking up in the morning is lovely and peaceful. Great stay for Thanksgiving

We stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday and loved the quiet location. Access to walk to Salt Point Natural Area and a short drive to other walking locations. The location is secluded, but very close to Lansing and Ithaca. The owners were very kind and accommodating with our unscheduled flight changes.

Property reached by short gravel road. Steep driveway for parking. Operating instructions for the many efficient heating/cooling wall-mounted units are on the kitchen bar counter. Kitchen well-stocked for cooks AND bakers! Stairs to lakeview master bedroom with jacuzzi tub & full bath with shower.

Perfect little getaway

My husband and I had the best time. The house was gorgeous. The view from the living room, kitchen, and master bedroom was magnificent. Although the weather didn’t permit us to use the lake, we loved that it was available to use if needed. It’s super quiet and off the beaten path. The house has some very cool gadgets like a panting AC and gas fireplaces. We would definitely go back.

Dream Stay

Overall 5+ stars! Only one very tiny issue and that was we arrived late in the evening and unfortunately the solar lights didn’t come on so we used our cellphone lights to see the digital lock box. That was extremely minor and that’s the most we could possibly have complained about! Everything about the house was awesome, we were so sad to leave. The amenities are top-notch, the house was spotless, the scenery is fantastic, and the “neighborhood” was quiet. Kitchen is amazingly well-equipped, the main bedroom is stellar, the living room is oh so comfortable and the views over the lake (Cayuga) were just perfect. I probably shouldn’t gush too much as we plan to return and we don’t want it to get too busy! 5+/5 stars

We've stayed here twice and it's the absolute best place in the whole area. I've stayed at a half dozen other properties all over the Finger Lakes region, but this one takes the cake. Gorgeous house, every amenity you could want, and the best sunset view available. A few minutes drive takes you into Ithaca for restaurants, bakeries, grocery stores, and the Ithaca Farmers' Market. Can't overstate what a great place this is to stay.
