'Positive: The place is great if you’re trying to be half way between Walvis Bay and swakopmund. Negative: not sure if it’s because it was low season (mid July) but the included breakfast was basically cereal, bread, yogurt, coffee. I’ve had better continental breakfast at some motels. Maybe they actually cook when there are many guests. I think there were less than 3 guests that day. Due to cargo ships in the ocean and lack of white sand, the beach is not very inviting.'

Die Lodge heisst eigentlich Long Beach Hotel. Und es ist auch eher Hotel...

'What an interesting place. It was a little uncomfortable when the receptionist acted like we didn't have a reservation. Maybe it was my American accent. Ha! The room was wonderful and the Springbocks on the golf course are awesome! Thank you!'

'Great hotel. Walking distance from the Main Street. Clean and comfortable. Staff was very helpful. Would recommend this for sure.'

'Good location, friendly staff and clean room. I received a room in the back block behind the garage. The rooms seem to be more spacious there in compare to the rooms in the main building. The bathroom is a little rough and basic but acceptable. The room had a small (empty) refrigerator and there's a Shoprite Supermarket right near the hotel to fill it up. The breakfast is o.k. and they prepare eggs on demand. In the evening there's a buffet. I tried it once and the quality was below average. But...

'The entire staff were warm, friendly and professional. It is definitely a place I will return to stay in the future. Thank you Ngandu at Sea!'

'Yes to all '

'I had a good stay at Villa Wiese. Breakfast was very nice.'

'Check-in terrible. Not the room we asked and paid for. Dinner terrible.'

'The property is clean, tidy, well maintained and centrally located with easy access to downtown (3-5) minutes away and within walking distance to the harbour front and ocean. Harbour front ( next to yacht club) has nice restaurants and plenty of excursion options. Oh, yes and the Meransha staff are very friendly and pleasant to deal with. 10/10'

'the property has been recently renovated. The view towards the lagoon is wonderful and the surroundings are serene and quiet. Several good restaurants are within walking distance via a wooden boardwalk. The shopping are is about 20 minutes walk, so we took a taxi to get there.'

'Very friendly staff. Charming family room wth mezanine and thatched roof and wooden decoration. Heating and good beds and shower. Fine breakfast and dinner.'
