Cozy country bungalow within the Amish Community

Cozy Bungalow, located in the heart of Amish country. Relax hearing the horse and buggies, going by the bungalow daily. 1 and 1/2 story bungalow with 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, is located just minutes away from all Amish attractions. Main floor has kitchen, dining room, living room, 2 bedrooms, with queen size beds, and bathroom. Upstairs consists of 1 bedroom with full size bed. Linens and towels provided. Kitchen with refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, cookware, bakeware, spices, and (paper products)paper towels, toilet paper, and napkins. TV, Wifi, DVD player, some DVD's, books, and games. Pack-n-play, highchair, and booster seat is available.
Manh Amish homes and farms along the road, Stoltzfus produce stand and Hayloft ice cream with pond (can feed ducks) also has a play ground for small children, and within walking distance. Close to Kitchen Kettle Village in Intercourse, Bird in Hand, Sight n Sound in Strasburg, Shady Maple, Maple Grove Drag way, Green Dragon. Close to most Lancaster County attractions.

Het was een geweldige ontvangst met een Home Made pie. Schoon en netjes en van alle gemakken voorzien. De eigenaren zijn er gedienstig en doen er alles asn om je het comfortabel te maken. Wil je de amish country bezoeken is de perfecte locatie. 90% van de straat bestaat uit leden van de amish gemeenschap.

House was cozy and inviting. This was our second time staying here and will definitely be our go to for all future visits!!! The hosts were super friendly and even offered to help us bring in our stuff!!! There was also a container of chocolate chip cookies waiting for us on the counter!

Such a cute 3 bedroom bungalow. It was well maintained and decorated beautifully with lots of special touches. The only drawback is that the bathroom is not handicap accessible (very low commode and hard to get out of tub). The owner did bring over a detachable bar to help with the tub. We loved staying here and meeting the owners. It was also a great location for visiting the Amish community and going to Sight and Sound.

Ted and Sharon were great hosts. We enjoyed talking with them. They welcomed us into their home. We enjoyed our stay very much. We had just about everything we needed. Lancaster trip

The house was so neat and clean, laid out nicely for the four of us. Sharon and Ted were very welcoming and didn't mind our coming and going. We saw a show at Sight and Sound, spent a day at Gettysburg before moving on to Philadelphia. The property is ideally located for all of that. Great stay on a quiet road with great hosts.

Great stay - Again

This was our second stay at the bungalow in three years; we missed last year as another party had booked our weekend. My wife and I book for a weekend getaway with her sister and husband. Property is perfect, clean, comfortable, welcoming, and the hosts are terrific. The horses and buggies clip clop past the house which really is well located as places are accessible in minutes in every direction. We’ll be back again!!

Clean and Safe

As two female friends traveling together, we wanted a place where we felt safe and comfortable. This rental was perfect!! We were able to each have a quiet bedroom. Hosts are friendly and accommodating. We were in easy reach of Sight & Sound Theater as well as plenty of shopping. We will be back!

Perfect Getaway

This is a repeat visit to this extremely clean and very well kept bungalow. The kitchen was l stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed being close to so many attractions, yet having Amish homes and farms on the road. Our gracious hosts are delightful and very accommodating. Communication was prompt.
