'We loved this hotel. While it's not a classic 'on the beach' resort, beaches are close by and the overall setting is beautiful. We had one of the 'fire lanai' rooms which turned out to be a great choice. The staff was great too. Next time we go to Maui, we plan to stay here again!'

'Beautiful pools with plentiful loungers. Adult only pool was nice to have! Steps from a large beach. Waterfalls and garden throughout the property. Ocean view room was well worth the extra. Restaurants were good but pricey and not the best value. Wonderful market/cafe though with nice selection. Best location next door to Wharf Village with lots of shops, restaurants and ice cream shops.'

'Even though we booked under the montage name, the hotel met all standards even with new ownership. The property itself is one of the most magical places we have been. We are very excited to come back in the future with our family. '

'The property and rooms are very nice. Very lush and beautiful landscaping and easy walk to the beach. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The issues that we had is that the air conditioner in the room was either not working properly, or undersized for the room. We had it set at 68 and it was hot in the room. We tried to turn it down to 66 and eventually 64, and I have a temp meter and the room was reading 80 degrees at night. It was very uncomfortable to sleep. We couldn't open the windows...

'Amazing property. Only thing we'd change is the quality of the coffee in the room. Would have been nice to have some better quality coffee / coffee maker to match the high standard of the room and the property in general. Other than that, we had an unforgettable time!'
