« I liked the place. The remodel of the basement was very well done great view of the water. But be aware it is a long way down a steep stairway. Also be aware that the place where you park is above the basement apartment down a short but fairly steep gravel path and/or another steep stairway. My wife and I are old and very unsteady on or feet. It would have been nice for us old folks if we had known what we were getting into. But it’s great if you are young. The owner was very nice and helpful. ...

« Great lil place to stay. It's a pet household so pet hair abounds....also the dogs and cats were able to watch us enter the vrbo from the upstairs windows too so be prepared for a curious audience »

« A fabulous clean affordable well equipped and centrally located unit with modern convenient updates. Easy safe walks to several friendly neighborhood restaurants and coffee shops. A five minute walk to the Tacoma General Hospital campus. A wonderful informative and communicative friendly host. Highly recommend and definitely will return in the future. »

« This property was easy to find, parking was close, and the apartment was spacious and had almost everything we needed for a short stay. The bed was very comfortable and there were extra pillows and linens which we didn't need. The host was very responsive. The only additions that would have been nice would be supplying cooking oil. There were wonderful places to do birding and we hope to return to see the car museum which looks fabulous. »

« Because I booked through Expedia and not directly through VRBO, the owner and I were struggling to connect. She was updating VRBO, but I couldn’t see it there. I had finally called VRBO to get her information to try to contact her when I hadn’t heard anything. It was difficult to start our communication, and there was no secure communication location for us. »
