The Nook is a bright and modern one-bedroom studio-style retreat on the first floor of a split-level home.



A separate guest accommodation is located upstairs, while your studio remains completely private and exclusively yours throughout your stay.

🐾 No pets or indoor smoking. $300 cleaning fee if violated

🧹 Please keep the space tidy. Excess cleaning may be charged at $60 per hour

🚽 A Quick Note About the Plumbing

To help protect Lake Tekapo’s plumbing system, please flush toilet paper only. Place all wipes—including those labelled “flushable”—in the rubbish bin provided. Thank you for helping us care for the property and the local infrastructure.



★ SAFETY DEPOSIT OR DAMAGE WAIVER REQUIRED ★



We understand that accidents can happen. To help protect the space and ensure a worry-free stay, all reservations require either a damage waiver or a safety deposit.



You can choose the option that works best for you: a non-refundable damage waiver ranging from $39 up to $79, which covers accidental damage and normal wear and tear (no deductible) or a refundable safety deposit of $450, which will be returned after checkout as long as no damage is found and all house rules are followed.



If you've already purchased Damage Protection Insurance through a third-party provider, feel free to share your policy with us-we're happy to

review it and we may consider waving the requirement based on your coverage.



Please note: The damage waiver does not cover damage caused by house rule violations.



🔑 Only one property access key/fob is provided as standard. Additional key/fob must be requested before arrival. A replacement fee of NZD $250 applies for each lost key or fob.
